Booked them for a next day toilet repair and was given a slot between 9 an 1 pm. Received a text confirming appointment and advising that if I am not in they will charge us £ 75. By 2 pm nobody arrived or bothered to call us. I called them back and advised that plumber was on a another job and will arrive by 5 but could not give us a time at which point told them to forget it. Very rude and obviously unreliable. Their add states emergency plumbers. God forbid you need them on an emergency. Will never call them again

People I dealt with were unfailingly polite, however in terms of reasonableness, it ended there.

I was quoted £110 + VAT for a drain blockage to be fixed. This was confirmed by a text. Ended up being charged £325, (£390 paid) and it not being fixed, following two visits and a period of over 24 hours after booking it.

Thursday evening first guy turns up, diagnosed it as a frozen waste pipe. He could not reach it as his ladder not high enough. He advised that this was due to Health and Safety (fair enough). He told me he would need to phone his office and get some assistance. He then left. Ten minutes later, got a phone call from a chap called Adrian, who said they could get back @ 10:00PM for a cost of £325. I said no thanks, not that urgent, can you do it next day then? Agreed that the guy with necessary kit would arrive between 9:00 and 11:00.

Next day, I received a phone call @ 12:00 (an hour past time quoted) advising they were running late. Guy turns up with a Wet Vac and eventually (I thought) cleared the blockage. He did leave a mess though. (See photo)Was told charge would be £325 as I'd agreed to it. I strongly dispute this. Surely, no-one in their right mind would pay that amount for the work carried out. The only written confirmation, I received was for the £110. To put the icing on the cake, builders working downstairs spoke to the chap as he was leaving, advising that water was pouring through the ceiling of the flat they were working on. He went in to take a look, said he needed to go to van, and just drove off. Builders then came up to ours and we discovered the waste pipe had been ruptured and water was pouring out. So £390 paid and it's not even fixed. Never again.

Needed PM247 in an emergency, they fixed my problem easily. From making the call to them they were polite, informative and actually cared. I can not recommend this company highly enough. You see people always write when they have a bad review, but people don’t often write when everything is great. Well I am writing as I am so impressed.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!
I called these people as I needed an emergency plumber to unblock the sink.  Guy turned up this morning to wet vac the blockage.  "Adrian" wanted to charge me £245 plus VAT to unblock but talked him down to £200 inclusive which he agreed to immediately.  BUT THE WORST THING - the "plumber" left my property without finishing the job, left my front door wide open and the kitchen covered in water.  He didn't speak to me, call or anything.  When I spoke to Adrian (who books these clowns) his excuse was that there was nothing the guy could do.  He didn't apologise or anything, just said if I wanted a pressure clear that it would cost me £400 plus VAT.  This clown that came in has also left black streaks all over my stainless steel sink and a brown stain from something poured into the bath.  When I called to ask Adrian what it was, again, no apology, he just said that he'd call me back.  Now whatever the idiot has done, my entire block of flat STINKS of rotten eggs.  The sink was blocked for a couple of days without a smell so this idiot must have made it even worse.  They can expect a claim from me in the small claims court for my bath, kitchen sink.  I'VE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW LIKE THIS BEFORE - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!

An actual Proper professional company! A friend of mine was in need of some serious advise regarding an investment purchase. Plumbing maintenance 24/7 Recommended getting a general survey on the property regarding all the plumbing. This extremely helpful check for £110 plus vat saved the friend a potential nightmare as there was about 7 issues with the plumbing & Heating . This saved him a lot of money. He was able to change his asking price because of the issues. Well done PM247
