My insurance company used PJ Rhodes to recover my car after being stolen and having been forensically examined, my car required a simple lock change. Good communication and quick service. Extremely disappointed they cleaned the outside of my car but didn’t feel the inside was worth it, after quite a traumatic robbery and it having to be forensically checked I was pretty sad they didn’t do a quick valet. Kindness goes along way these days and after such an awful experience I expected more especially after reading nice comments from others how immaculate their cars were returned back! The last people to touch my car were the burglars so it still feels contaminated. I left half a tank of fuel in their courtesy car, hopefully someone can benefit from this and my kindness passed on. A good experience ending in disappointment.
A fantastic place and superb service all round. I went into my local branch in acocks green for a private quote as someone one crashed into the back of me and offered to pay the costs but i didn't realise how expensive it is to have your vehicle repaired properly so when i gave the quote to the person who damaged my car they refused to pay : A gent at PJ Rhodes saved the day by arranging the repair and a hire car through their none fault solicitors group. Everything thing went smooth throughout the whole process and i can't thank them enough....
Over 4 months to do the work and appreciate there are parts issues, but on one call/chase it was mentioned that the parts were ordered the week before which was over 1 month in. No call backs when they said they would and generally led to them being chased weekly for an eta with another promise of a call back that never happened. When ready delivery was more so at their convenience. MOT expired within this period and had to be booked and then cancelled on numerous occasions and therefore had to await their final 'ready' call. They would not extend delivery by a couple of days for when first available MOT was booked to enable work, school runs and appointments to continue as they were short of courtesy cars. Told no, we will see you today! Very disappointed at huge delay, lack of promised call backs and considering it was their hold up that caused disruption they would not ensure a usable car to continue for a couple of days. Utterly disappointed in the service and will be informing the insurance company of the additional costs that have been caused by this service.
Sorry to anyone who had problems with pjr.... They kept me updated gave me good advice. And did a sterling job fixing my car . It came back clean and tidy even left a tin of sweet. I normally would not write. But felt I needed to. Well done PJ Rhodes acocks Green I think Birmingham Great job
Had a deep scratch on the car. Repair was very good, could not tell if there was a scratch. Service also very good.
Tesco insurance sent my car to these people in Acocks Green They are an absolute joke. They had my Lexus for exactly 3 months. In that time there were no phone calls updating me, I had to continually chase them . Promises after promise didn’t materialise and when I did eventually get my car back they hadn’t completed the repair. So they had it back and I was told a couple of days. It’s now 2 Weeks and still no car, no phone call and the last promise from Suki cam and went. I will be informing Tesco if this joke outfit so that they can’t hopefully continue to operate in this c” couldn’t care less” way. AVOID THIS OUTFIT!!!Service: Body & Trim
Very happy with the service from P J Rhodes, Robbie and Debbie made everything easy and kept me informed of the ongoing repairs to my vehicle and estimated time to repair. They also took care of returning the on hire vehicle. The repair was very professionally completed, I would recommend them.
