So popped into Currys yesterday to buy a Iphone 15 Pro Max 256GB Sim Free and as I was heading into Oldham I went to Currys. Had to wait 5 minutes to be seen as the phone section was really busy but when I was served I got the phone I wanted and I must say the Girl that served me had Excellent Customer Service skills, Polite, professional, Fantastic product knowledge and really did go above and beyond for me. The retail park has ample parking plenty of disabled parking spaces, Plenty of Parents and children carparking spaces to, it is free to park. Me and My Wife post alot of reviews on Google and we always give our honest opinion and impression on our experiences on our travels everything from Service, Customer service, Food, Drink, Accommodation, Hotels, Airbnb, Value for money, Boat trips, flights, beauty treatments, shops etc and we have over 28,000,000+ views. 5 5 5 5 5 5
I was served today by a lovely lady called Shakila. She helped me choose the vacuum cleaner she felt best suited my needs, she didn’t push me to buy the most expensive one as most stores do. She offered me a seat while I waited for it to be brought out of the warehouse and even carried it to my car for me as I recently had surgery on my hand. It’s lovely to have such great customer service, Shakila went above and beyond.
What is going on. Today we visited the elk mill store as we entered there were staff standing by the store chatting. In the past we have been welcomed and offered help. The staff just carried on chatting. The store was particularly quiet. We came to look at dishwasher and smart home security cameras. We hovered around each area for about 10 to 15 minutes. Nobody approached us offering information or help. It seems the standards of customer service have slipped terribly and am sad to say will be taking my business elsewhere after many years of happy purchases from Currys. The final bit to top it all off and staff have a right to have breaks but smoking cigarettes infront of the store makes untidy. At least go around the side of the building out of the way.
I went in to get 2 Samsung tablets for my brothers, I knew what I wanted and had an idea of which payment plan I wanted to go for, once I got there, there was literally no one there. I waited like 20 minutes fir someone to serve me, once the customer service assistant came her name is lily she started the process of buying the items, unfortunately I had left my phone at home in which I told her I will go back and get it as it will only take me 10 minutes, she told me she can process all the items without my phone which made no sense? There was a miscommunication as I had previously bought an item and put the insurance on finance and I wanted to do the same with the tablets, however she was very rude about it as she said that me paying monthly for my insurance doesn’t mean it’s on finance. After that as she was serving me, she just left me without a word and started to serve another customer and wasted about 25 minutes again. Once this happened she began to speak to me extremely rudely and got other members of staff involved and started to talk to the about me as if I wasn’t there or I couldn’t hear her. She was telling them how I had no clue what I’m doing, and asked someone else to serve me. I hadn’t said anything to her at this point, I stayed quiet. Soon after that my mother came as I was inside for about 1.5 hours and she started to rant at my mother about how I don’t know what I’m doing and I’ve probably never had anything on finance ect. I found this extremely rude as she was belittling me and everyone around us could hear what she was saying. Then I said to her I don’t want to purchase the items anymore and she proceeded to ignore me and try talk to my mother instead, in which I just told my mother to walk out and we didn’t purchase any items, currys really need to look at their customer service assistant and managers as they are really ruining their reputation. Currys once used to be such a fun experience. Never going back again!
We received excellent service The salesman sorry did not get name very knowlable and likeable. The girl Rosy also very helpful well done and thank you.
They rejected my paid online order for no reason and didn't even bother to let me know. I had to drive over 30 miles to the store just to find out, and then they told me I had to wait a whole week for a refund. What a joke! Staff Clueless. No wonder they have a bad rep.
Keiron was really helpful and honest with me when helping me buy a gaming laptop. He gave me a list of gaming sites to look at. It was my first time buying in store and using the creation credit and it was a great experience. Thank you Keiron!! :
Bought a Samsung 65inch TV from here over a year and a half ago. Didn't take out the extra warranty as would expect the TV to last over a good few years without fault. Currys wouldn't do nothing and Samsung wouldn't do anything due to it only having a year warranty. Led lights should last longer then 18 months. My advice would be stay away bad customer service. Get to Costco you get a 5year warranty as standard.
Didn't have what we wanted. Staff didn't care. Totally unhelpful. Better to use website and order to home.
Second time in 2 weeks, I've Never used Curry's before & Won't Again, WHY? I phoned to see if they had a product in stock got put through to a clearing house an told to go on the Web site could not find what I wanted so used the site Phone Number, THAT COST ME £ 9.89 NO Where did it say I'm paying that rate to ring them, Popped along to see If I could get my goods spoke to a young dark haired well over weight Manager, Who could only Say I need to reset my mobile, so not to ring them, Looking @ the other staff they looked bored to Death, & would move away, Not come & Ask can I help You.?!? TAKE CARE WHEN Shopping there, THEY only want to up sell @ the TILLS, & move your Insurance or your Network to Them , DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MOBILE NUMBER, they never stop Ringing it to Change your Net Work, THAT'S, A NO NO, For Sure, NEVER AGAIN, FOR ME, NEVER AGAIN FOR SURE,
