Gave 5 stars for rooms didn't stay but outlook to stunning scenery would give it a high rating anyway. We did have food and drink , menu catered for all tastes and was very good not your usual pub fare. Was very impressed and would have no hesitation to recommend this place and I'll definitely be back. Walkability: Ample car parking at the back and across the road. Food & drinks: All very good and will suit all tastes
Very friendly staff made to feel very welcome. Dog friendly accommodation clean and had everything needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was delicious and plenty food choices to choose from. The Glue Pot Bar was a lovely wee pub to enjoy a couple of drinks.Rooms: 5/5
Perfect location, staff really great. Unfortunately our bed room window didnt open so stifling hot over night. The best shower I have used in Scotland. 9 out of 10Rooms: 4/5
We were met at the door by a very rude brown haired girl. With an accent who after looking my wife up and down then asked if we had a booking. Which we never as we were travelling threw. The restaurant was empty and stayed empty all night. Knowing this because the glue pot next door were more than happy to accommodate 2 people in what was a very busy night. To ad further more insult after we had orders who other that little miss torn face was to serve us. But no she couldn’t even do that. She actually went into the back to get another waiter to bring us out food. I’m sure the restaurant is lovely but if that’s the kind of staff they employ we won’t be back. Only bad thing was I never got her name to let her boss know how much of a silly little immature girl they have working there
Lovely restaurant. We had a pretty long wait for our food and they came twice to tell us it was coming and apologised . They also offered us packs of sweets each as a wee compensation. The effort was really sweet.
Stayed here 16.10.22, friendly especially to our dog. Rooms lovely and clean, en-suite a tad small but the powerful shower was great after a long drive, food good too
Seems very nice. Lovely views but I did only stay for a few pints . Nice staff and quiet place to chill. The food seemed very popular too.Rooms: 5/5
