Best avoided Had the misfortune of using Oxley and Coward to sort out money left to myself and my sister in a will. Awkward and rude to deal with, had to fight to get money released from the estate for a funeral. Ample money in estate to cover it. I felt deliberately took time resolving any issues, all while holding the money in Oxley and Coward account (whilst earning interest for them - which we never saw). My mother helped them with numerous question, to save them work and help them - yet where rude and impatient with her. When a face to face meeting was requested with the person dealing with will, they where suddenly "unavailable " when I arrived and a different person had to take the meeting, who knew very little. So a waste of time. The associate solicitors who was dealing with the case rang one of the executors of the will (who happened to be a long time family friend) to complain about me ! And tried the female I'm doing my best sob story. Same associate Solicitor from Oxley and Coward made a mistake with a tax issue which meant had to hold back a sizeable amount for 5 years, yet never received an apology, or an acknowledgement of their mistake. Oxley and Coward more than happy to send endless multiple page letters which in reality could have been summed up in one paragraph each time. Would not recommend Oxley and Coward

Recommended by estate agent but took a long time to complete a simple house sale. Very difficult to contact, would not recommend.

Very good at what they do but don't keep you in the loop with what's happening, had to keep chasing them to get answers but like I say they do a very thorough job which is great!!

Probate: The utmost professional company. Attention to detail and advise delivered and confidence given during difficult time and considerable estate to deal with. About to move to conveyancing department and hope I get the same experience. I will update accordingly.

Poor communication and service during house purchase. Did not follow up key information. Would not use this firm again. Would not recommend.
