Lovely 9 hole course. Cracking value at £8.20 for juniors. Ample parking, friendly staff. Entrance was tricky to find first time as it isn't in the village. Go around the edge of the village and take the Carcroft road. There is a small country lane that feeds off this. The golf course is the second entrance the first one is for the Hall.
Fair ways are brilliant. So are the greens. Wide enough course incase you're terrible like me. All flat land too. Always return here.
Very inexpensive, not a premium 9 hole golf course by any means, but good practice to be had and nothing to complain about at the price.
Says it on the tin brilliant course staff are amazing to all flat so great for people who struggle with hills .I go once a week A+
Lovely little 9 hole golf course that drains well so remains dry even after a downpour. Nice wide fairways for the high handicapper but testing around the greens for the better player. Good value at £8 for 9 holes as well
Excellant short 9 holes. And full 18 if required. Its not St Andrews but you are nt paying the price. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a quick round after work etc. Greens can be abit patchy.
Excellent 9 hole course in a peaceful and relaxed environment. The staff are very friendly and has a well stocked shop from bags clubs trolleys and even clothes and wet gear.Owston park is ideal for anyone wanting to try golf for the first time as free club hire is available. The course itself is very well maintained and has very good drainage so is playable all year round. I would recommend Owston park to golfers of all abilities. Easily the best 9 hole course I’ve played
Nice course, a few of the holes are unachievable unless you can hit it long. Tee boxes need mowing very poor, greens in excellent condition. Excellent value for money cost-wise, but will never be one of my favorite courses because of the long approaches to blind holes.
Had a great day, place was easy to find, parking was good and free!. The round of 9 holes cost £7.70 mid-week which included free club hire although trolley was extra and there are drinks available and toilets!. The people running the place were really friendly, and the people on the course were pretty understanding that we were slow we let a few pass us!. Will probably visit again in the future, if the wife lets me........
This is a reasonably decent 9 hole golf course. The only downside is that it's condition goes up and down wildly throughout the year. The greens are always slow, but often in the winter the grass on them is longer than most courses fairway grass! That said, this is a great place to come and learn the game and for a fun round with mates.
