Gorgeous hotel. Lovely rooms. Even if staying for 2 nights room was cleaned. Reception staff all very welcoming. Only comment - first night arrived late and bar staff still managed to get a tea ready for my friend but on 2nd night asking for tea at a bar even earlier get an answer - all machines are switched off. 5 stars for a person working in bar on Tuesday evening.
Owston Hall Hotel is positively EXQUISITE! I am privileged to be able to travel around and visit some lovely venues for my profession but this place is something special! The food served for the private diners was so well presented and looked amazing! Even my fish and chips from the bar menu was the best I had ever had. The attentive service of the staff is first class right down to the expresso martini’s at the end of the night. If you are planning a wedding or a lavish private party make this place your first port of call.
We thought we'd try the restaurant after it was recommended by some friends. We went on saturday night for my wife's birthday. The staff are very good, friendly,attentive and efficient. The food was great. The drinks were good. Would definitely recommend. We will be back. We hope the new owner keeps on with the improvements. This is just what our area needs.
We got married here 14/10/2022 Wow words can not describe how amazing our day was . Owston hall was absolutely amazing They really went above and beyond for not only us but all of our guests They truly did make our day special The wedding coordinator Kate , manager mark was absolutely amazing from the very beginning to the end Nothing was to much for them for us And all the staff on the day was absolutely fantastic . And the food , wow absolutely gorgeous. It truly was a magical day All the little extras here and there for us and our guests was so much appreciated we really can not thank you all enough We will never forget what a special day we had with owston hall xx
This is a superb hotel - enjoyed a delicious Mother’s Day meal yesterday - the meal was ‘top dollar’ . The service that went with it equally so - attentive, polite and interested staff. A real treat - a veritable banquet!!!! thank you. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stayed the night at this lovely old hotel on Wednesday 16th March. We booked a double delux bedroom. Large and spacious. Could have been brighter in decor but nice. Large bathroom with shower in the bath. Lovely toiletries. Lounge area very cosy and warm. Ate in the very pleasant dining room. I love white linen table cloths and napkins. The food was excellent. Tomato soup, croutons and lovely bread. The ribeye steak and trimmings was perfect. Washed down with an excellent large glass of Malbec for £8.00 Breakfast was freshly cooked. Very nice. All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Mark, the manager, Simon, assistant manager, Tinisha, Laura and Kate were again so friendly and helpful. That just leaves, Toon behind the bar. A real character. Professional, helpful and friendly. So there you have it. A wonderful hotel. Marvelous friendly staff and great food. Brilliant

We went for lunch on mothering Sunday and it was faultless the service and the food was delightful can't fault the place at all we will highly recommend owston hall to all our friends and we definitely go back again Food & drinks: Sunday lunch is fabulous
Owston Hall is a brilliant place to stay and I highly recommend. The rooms are amazing- so much space with beautiful decor and immaculately clean. The en suite was enormous with brilliant shower and all the sundries you need. The hotel is beautiful and the bar, restaurant and outside areas are lovely. The food was fabulous and there is a very elegant menu to choose from. The staff - from housekeeping to bar to restaurant to reception are fantastic - genuinely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The spa area is currently being upgraded and I can't wait to go back when it is all completed. There is a brilliant golf course which is well maintained and people who like golf I don't will love it. It was great for me as a single traveller but they also host golfing parties and weddings and other functions. The management team are brilliant and are going to make a huge success of this venue. Loved it and highly recommend
Room was excellent with a great shower and comfortable bed. Staff go above and beyond from reception to bar staff. Would gladly stay again.Rooms: 5/5
