Had my hearing assessed at this establishment and was given information about suitable hearing aids. The salesman seemed very knowledgeable until I asked some specific questions at which point he waved his arms about and suggested that all this technical stuff was just a bit unnecessary. When it came to costs he very neatly dropped his voice as he said £x,000 leaving me to think the price was lower than it was. Later when I sought clarification it appeared the price was an exact round figure in thousands. Other information given regarding the price differential between different types of aid was certainly not in accordance with the norm for this industry. No breakdown of price for the two aids and a remote control was provided. Afterward I checked the cost of the same hearing aids at major providers from Harley Street to Nuffield Hospitals and the aids were priced between £1,300 and £1,600 each. That is a whole lot less than the total quoted by this establishment. Suggest others shop around before committing to buying from Hearing and Mobility.
