Found this shop tucked away in an industrial estate. It has lots of tents erected inside the store as well as selling smaller camping items. The staff were knowledgeable about the products and very helpful. The shop is easily accessible and all on the ground level.

This was MUCH better when they had a store. No silly card to pay per year. Just walk in, browse and buy. I know this store since its opening. It was great. Quality climbing kit, kayak kit and camping kit.  Local too, yet, later on ,it started to incorporate more caravan stuff and soon afterwards,  went down hill and closed

We pre-ordered a Vango tent from OWD and hoped to get it at launch in July. We had booked a spot at a campsite in August and the delivery date upon launch was within time. Whilst the tent arrived on the expected launch date the other additions like the carpet and ground sheet arrived much later due to issues in China.  OWD kept us updated throughout via email, we had 4 separate deliveries for our pre-order. OWD consistently communicated the progress of our order and updated us on revised delivery dates.  We can't fault the excellent customer service, the staff are an asset to the company. We love the tent, it's humungous!!

Customer service is excellent. Bought a Vango Scran Grill XL, unfortunately the courier was a little heavy handed and it arrived damaged. Emailed Outdoor World and within a few minutes a replacement was lined up to be sent.

Great showroom but best of all, wonderful knowledgeable staff who were willing to help.  Not your usual, sell you what they want, but a genuine desire to provide us with what we needed.  Absolutely outstanding.  Can't sing their praises high enough.  Bought a great awning and a bunch of other stuff for our new campervan.  Thanks especially to Joe and David.

Outstanding customer service! Ordered camp beds to deliver to campsite as ours failed on us.....placed order Sunday and spoke to customer service on the phone who was polite and got our items delivered the following morning by 10am...I had also phoned back to place another order and the person I spoke to on phone merged the order and changed the address for me when I realised I had put wrong address down. Would definitely use this company again.

My partner ordered a tent on line Vango. Paid extra to get the Saturday delivery only to be told on the Saturday morning that it will be delivered Monday.  Too late Outdoor World Direct! No tent for our night away and wasted our money   Update - very helpful staff and got a full refund - seems like it was the fault of the carrier.  Thank you

Good service from young guy. He showed me round the venue very polite and professional manner. I'm an experienced camper with thousands of pounds of equipment and have been using this place for the last couple of years. The Skyfall 15 double and Posadas double plus the electrical hob and other purchases all in sealed packaging and in excellent condition. Thank you. Saturday 15th Day of Visit
