"All vans, whether hired or owned, or a trailer between 2m and 3m in length must book an appointment.Cars are not required to book.If you require help from staff to dispose of your waste, you will need to wear a face covering, unless exempt.Check the website to see what materials can be recycled and sort at home before your visit. There may be queues at peak times, weekends and bank holidays.Wear appropriate clothing, footwear and gloves. Children and animals must stay in the vehicle at all times for their own safety.There are height barriers of 1.75m, please ask attendants if you require assistance.Trade, Commercial and Industrial Wastes are not permitted. If suspected, your details may be passed to enforcement authorities."

Great staff always polite and helpful
Guy on gate excellent. We had 3 wooden wardrobes to dispose of . Broke them down and took them to the tip. We continued to lift them when the guy came over to help as they were heavy. It was 2:50 in the afternoon. So whoever you are thankyou again. There are lots of helpful people still around.
Easy to find and helpful crew, but some very strange rules about van bookings. If you book, they give you a whole day slot but will only let you in once, so make sure you get everything in one trip. Wouldn't let me book a 2nd slot same day, either, which is a nuisance if you've rented a van

Visited on my own with a car full of rubbish for the tip. The guy on the entrance gate was very friendly and helpful however the older guy who stood by a shed half way round just stood there and offered no help. He just adjusted the position of his big cream easy chair and chattered with a young guy who worked there. The centre was busy but I didn’t see any of the workmen offer help to anyone. I’ve been here before and have been helped so I think it must depend whether you get them on a good day or not!
First time going here. Booking said between 8-5 - turned up 4:30 due to working.. The fella at the gate was the most grumpy person ever, told us we shouldn’t be turning up at this time and told us to hurry up as they finish at 5, kept rushing us all around site too.. really bad experience all round.
