Daniela and Franco invite you to their local, friendly, family run "art" restaurant - Osteria dell'Arte. Our restaurant has a wonderful, quirky setting surrounded by work from local artists, with exhibitions changing regularly.

We are open from 10a.m. to 5p.m. for Italian brunch and from midday until 6p.m. we have our "Assaggi" menu, offering tasty Italian small plates ideal for either sharing with friends or combining to make a complete meal. Our main menu has a large selection of freshly made pizza and homemade pasta dishes as well as Antipasti and delicious main courses. We have a keenly priced all-Italian wine list for added authenticity.

So sit back, relax and enjoy traditional Italian dishes with the artistic touch of our chef. Creating food, creating art......

Good size portions, been many times before and always has great service. Tonight, had the burrata to start, paccherri with nduja and a pizza. The paccheri was my favourite flavour. Texture of the pasta was al dente with a good bite. Tabby and slightly spicy.
We've gone several times to eat pizza here. The restaurant is authentic and our pizzas tasted great : Dessert options are good too, especially panna cotta! The owner and waiters are very gentle and put some effort in recreating a nice atmosphere even though they may push it a little bit too much, to the point of feeling somehow artificial, but this is highly dependent on your taste. Give it a try if you like italian food and if you like different options to the usual pizza as well!
This is a really good restaurant. I particularly think is a great one if you live in the area and fancy something nice of good quality. The staff is very warm and treat you really well. There isn't a huge variety but they are really good dishes. Not a got place on busy times, a bit messy and takes ages to serve the food. Again, perfect for a nice and quiet dinner out with your partner or whether don't want to cook at home.
Good little local Italian - famous for its pizza. Simple fresh ingredients and generous portions. Very good value. Can be noisy, as the restaurant is small narrow and long, set off the street and tables quite close together.
* the owner has responded to my review but lied, as if they don't have a microwave, why was my food scalding in the centre and cold on the outside? Good drinks, normally good service, however today my food was microwaved which was quite sad given I'm paying for it to be cooked, I have my doubts that the pasta is made fresh every day as advertised, even if it is, it's often microwaved. Also the service can be very slow, today I was waiting for over 10m to be served after my starter was finished, despite there being many members of staff present, and only one other customer!
A relatively quiet Italian restaurant on Clapham High Street. Much better food, authenticity and service than Eco up the road. Also much quieter and cosier, making it a much nicer place for a date or any occasion where you want to be able to talk. The food is very good and at a very reasonable price and the portions are generous. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this place to friends.
Great service- hostess is very warm amicable person with lots of energy and good recommendations. Been here a few times and I really want to like it, but never had an out-of-this-world experience with the food. Good salads, pastas are alright, and last time I went calzone was not so nice with cold tomato sauce.
We headed here to eat before the Walk The Walk Moon Walk event. We needed pizza/pasta to fuel our overnight walk and I can only say that we got exactly that. The pizza's are huge and the salad fresh, my only issue was that the bottom of my pizza was slightly under cooked so went soggy very fast, I couldn't eat it in the end. The others around the table had less watery toppings and didn't seem to have an issue, I had the egg and spinach so I guess that was what caused it never had an issue before in other places Staff were friendly and the food hot and fast. Toilets are not something to be proud of and really could use a good clean and tidy up. But the bit that really matters is the food and that was good. Right on the high street with big open doors to the road giving lots of fresh air and noise and bustle. Only wish the smokers would step away a little so we don't get that smell with our food, but that was only one person being thoughtless. If you want good pizza and fresh salad head here.
We looked for a few places to eat before coming here at Osteria Restaurant/Bar. Amazing service, I had a lovely fish with spinach.The food was excellent and all the staffs were professional and friendly. Especially Mauricio he is the sunshine of the place and will do anything to make you feel happy and wanted. Super smashing great fun and good night out! Highly recommended! Manuela
Amazingly friendly and comfortable place with great staff, nothing is a problem, they just want you to be happy and comfy. Brilliant food and wine, and although it opens onto Clapham High Street it has a couple of seats out the front and large french windows. Full of great art inside and a lovely variety of people. Will def return!
