I do not usually write reviews, but in this instance I think it is a must to warn others of what I turned a blind eye too. The female director is aggressive, rude and and nasty towards clients, all staff members and generally anyone who she comes across. Please read the reviews and avoid using this awful company there are many agents out there who are genuine, Ormskirk lettings is most definitely not one!

Beware..... currently paying for a years accommodation. When my daughter gave notice last June. Sharks who are only interested in taking money off students or there guarantor. Ignorant. Unreasonable. The landlords they represent are greedy inhuman and have no interest who they pursue for money. Don't do it

If there was a no star option then that’s what I would leave! Honestly the worst and scam you out of your money, moved in and there was no internet amongst many other issues and when my parents contacted them (after countless attempts of my house mates and I trying to contact them ourselves) they actually charged my parents a £200 fee for talking through an ‘outsider’ whom wasn’t me! AWFUL! Please students DON’T GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!

For any students thinking of using this company, a word of advice - DON'T! They have to have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They were rude, incompetent, ignorant and at no time were they ever in the slightest bit helpful. I am the parent of a student who had the unfortunate experience of renting one of their properties, and want to warn anyone not to take a chance. They will not speak to any parent (even though often it is the parent who is stumping up the deposit in the first place)and even refused to speak to my daughter on the phone, and would only allow email as communication. We had extreme trouble trying to get the deposit back (we went to an ombudsman eventually and got the full amount back but it took time and a lot of effort). If I could have given a zero rating I would have done.

We were charged £815 for cleaning. The deposit was £750. Mydeposit found the charges unreasonable, and we've recovered some of our deposit. Stay as far away as possible.
