The dentist was friendly and very professional. I felt I was in a safe pair of hands and he gave me some top tips on my tea drinking habit.
A busy practice that takes time to look after its clients. Both my recent visits a general check-up and a cap repair were with Alice and her assistant sorry, I didn't catch your names either time. They picked up on my anxiety about being in the chair, and acted to make me more comfortable, and treated me appropriately - with kindess, patience and professionalism. Thank you for making my visits as pain-free as possible :D

Orkney Dental Stromness made me feel so welcome and at ease the minute I walked in the door. From the lovely, friendly Laura who chatted away at reception to the wonderful, attentive Amy who did a first class job as always. So very grateful for such lovely staff who have finally rid me of my fear of attending. So very much appreciated!
I wasn't sure whether I had broken a tooth or lost a filling, and was very pleased to get an appointment fairly quickly. Amy checked my teeth and arranged to do two fillings next month, as well as giving me lots of dental hygiene advice. I always receive excellent treatment from the practice.
The experience was very good. It was my first visit since covid began. I was impressed by the way the waiting room had been changed to provide patient safety. The dentist, Miss Arlene Sinclair, gave her usual expert and friendly care. Another appointment will be necessary and this was arranged immediately by the efficient receptionist who, then, helped me to exit the building while maintaining social distancing. During these strange COVID times, when only emergency appointments are being undertaken I was so fortunate to phone and speak to a very understanding receptionist who kindly gave me an appointment for a week later. I had a badly broken and decayed back top molar which was causing me great discomfort and sensitivity. Following a consultation with Callum the dentist he X-rayed my tooth and we both decided the best approach unfortunately was to extract it. He offered to do it there and then! After two injections and a bit of painless pulling my tooth was no longer! His reassurance and calming attitude made it all so easy. Day two and I am fine, following his post extraction instructions. Wonderful service from start to finish. Thank you all Orkney Dental, Stromness.
My last visit was 5 star. From the conversation on the phone and explaining what is a problem, to the welcome at the clinic and check out. I was with myself and my son. He was seen first, he had a check up , smiling all the time and stress free. Then it was me. Every step explained all the procedures and costs explain. All the options given, then procedure pain free, all the time checking how I am doing etc. We couldn't have better experience at the dentist. Thank you Team Orkney Dental Stromness.
