Excellent tempura battered fish & chips. Extensive menu. Attentive staff despite being a chef down in the main kitchen. Very busy with take out orders. Young staff worked very well as a team. Had to wait a while for desserts but was made aware by the management. A generous deduction was made as a gesture of good will on our bill. Recommend a visit.
Sometimes a fish and chip shop is even greater its brilliant reviews. Really nice restaurant inside the fish and chip shop. Great atmosphere, nice sized tables and booths. Extremely friendly and quick service, fitted us in after calling through. Good to be able to have a pint with a fish and chip meal too. The fish is incredible with light and fluffy batter, cooked to perfection and with plenty of great chips. Recommend the curry sauce too. Simply excellent and nice to see a thriving family business.
Fantastic fish and chips, great service and always a lovely experience...if you want fresh ingredients, delicious fish and perfect chips then this is it! I had the cod which was fresh, flaky and perfectly cooked. My sister tried Huss for the first time and the waitress described the flavours as a stronger and meatier fish which was spot on and very tasty. We also shared the jumbo shrimp and we all enjoyed them. We will be back next time we are in Worthing.
It's our first time visiting at the Orginal Chipwick and we are very impressed from the very start. The place looks great and cosy. You feel welcomed. We were seated very quickly at a lovely table for two at the back. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. Fish was cooked to perfection, crispy throughout without being overdone with a lovely cut fresh salad. The same with the chips, tasty, fresh and cripsy. Good sized portions. Good prices. Presentation of the dishes was excellent. Service was fantastic, everyone at Chipwick are very friendly. We were served by Louis and George, very friendly and attentive with big smiles on their faces. The best fish and chips in Worthing. We will be back definitely. Went yesterday for dinner, what a great find. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and the choice of food spot on, not just traditional fish and chips but a range of other fresh options. I had the Scallops and then Haddock sea food mix, my partner Brie and the cod and chips. Both lovely and really well cooked, if you are in Worthing and want a different take on FIsh and Chips or traditional Fish and Chips, then this is the place,
As a chef I love coming here! Great food, perfectly cooked, friendly down to earth service. Always clean and tidy and a pleasure to bring my family to here time and time again. Found this little gem in lockdown and so pleased I did! Keep up the great work guys Vegetarian options: Good menu, plenty of choice. Kid-friendliness: Kids love it and the little colouring in crossword is a win everytime Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access Dietary restrictions: We’ll thought out menus and clear dietary info.
First time visit and very impressed. Fish was perfectly cooked and batter crisp without being overdone. Same with the chips, tasty, fresh and well cooked. I ordered also a portion of baked bean and the portion was generous. Service was great, friendly and efficient too, also well staffed. Meal was just under £18 for a soft drink, cod and chips and a portion of beans on the side. A little pricey personal opinion but all in all worth it.
It is vary nice place, good food but prices are to big. Sharing seafood plate disappointed because there was only fish and 2 prawns definitely price was too high.
What an unexpected surprise. We decided to eat in, booking ahead advised. Chipwick's is a delight with perfectly cooked chips. I had haddock and seafood in a white wine sauce which was fantastic. The family feast takeaway is an absolute bargain. We will definitely try that out on our next visit. Oh and to the add the staff are excellent!
