Great fish and chip shop. The cod was very light and tasty with nice batter and the chips were nice and crispy. There is plenty of parking outside. There is a good selection of different fish and all different sizes. I only waited 10 mins and all was freshly cooked and hot. Best fish and chips I have had for a long time, thanks. Highly recommend.
Have used this shop a few times in recent months having avoided it for a while after a bad experience a year or two ago and have until now been very happy with the quality and service. On this occasion I was disappointed. The fish was as good as usual - nice fish in crispy batter - the chips were pretty awful though - not crisp, over cooked, tough on the outside and tasted dreadful. Had every appearance of re-heated - twice cooked chips from lunch time - large portion for four of us most of which went in the bin!

Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. I got a large Huss, chips and mushy peas. The Huss was ~massive~. The batter was crunchy and pretty it was actually seasoned which seems to be a rarity, adding even more flavour to the already meaty and delicious Huss. The chips were bang on, too. Nice crunch with a soft inside. The mushy peas were nicely seasoned and tasty. It’s in a good location. Close enough to the beach that you can pick up your food and it still be hot when you get there.
Very reasonably priced, lovely cod, the small portion of chips is really big and the medium plaice was beautiful
Had a small cod and chips which was a really good portion size. Great quality fish, batter and chips. Not greasy at all. A perfect find.
Lovely fish and chips. Sadly the wait for the food took over half an hour
Discovered this fish and chip shop recently and what a find it's been! Been there several times since and fish is always cooked to order with very generous portions! and the fish and chips are delicious. They're also always very polite. So definite thumbs up from us.
