Absolutely yummy food they have a nice range of vegetarian Chinese foods if you want they can customise your meal choice if you ask them too. I like how friendly takeaway is and I do enjoy the food. I highly recommend here for takeaways as it's always been freshly prepared infront of me as I can see the chefs cook the food and the kitchen is clean and I've never had any issues or problems food. I like to order my noodles in person rather than have them delivered but that's my choice. But the food is very tasty no where else does this kind of quality especially as the prices are very reasonable in Enfield!! I love the cute Lucky cat as you walk in I've named him "Smiley" :

You know it's bad when you'd rather throw away the food than eat it. Incredibly bland, no flavour and cheated with the portion sizes. Ordered half a duck and got probably a quarter serving with the rest of the container packed with soggy veg. Definitely in the top tier list of worst Chinese food ever. You're better off going hungry than wasting money ordering here.
Disgusting food, money in the dustbin, Pork Ribs with chilli & salt was rock hard, like chewing on wood. Pork ribs should be tender, soft & juicy. Why would anyone lose a customer & suffer more bad reviews for money.
We have been ordering from them almost every week for 2 years with a minimum spend of £40, never had any real issues apart from the odd mistake BUT our latest and now LAST order was frankly embarrassing from them...... Placed the order on JUSTEAT only to receive a call from the restaurant after 20mins to say they want to charge an additional £2 for delivery, my response was "Ok bring your card machine" as I had no cash at home, they said no we want cash, I explained I had no cash and since I'm a regular customer they could add it on to the next order which they refused and I said are you willing to lose a customer for the sake of £2?? "YES! was the gentlemans response
WORST CHINESE SHOP EVER. I called in and placed an order for collection. I asked for PLAIN Singapore noodles with sweet and sour chicken. When my food was collected for me and arrived back to my work place. I opened the box and found PORK and PRAWNS in my food. I called back to let them know they made a mistake with my order and they insisted that they never made a mistake and I asked for vegetarian Singapore noodles, which I never. I just asked for plain Singapore noodles. And even if I had asked for vegetarian noodles, why would there be pork and prawns in there ?? They refused me a refund and where extremely unprofessional. They even told me they could sue me ?? Which I don’t understand because they messed up my order. Never spending money at this Chinese restaurant again. They are extremely unprofessional and uncivilised. They deserve to be shut down.
it has taken me 3 weeks to write this review as the customer service i received from this 'take away' was beyond belief. i ordered via Just Eat around 6pm, it said that the order would arrive at 6.45pm, this was later changed to 7pm then 7.30pm. around 8pm, i rang Oriental Chef to ask where my order was and was told that i should come and collect it. i said that i would not be coming to collect as I had paid for delivery, i was told that it would be another hour or so, i hung up the phone. around 9pm, i rang again and asked where my order was, i was told that it was with the driver and he was delivering in the EN1 area. an hour later, no food, i rang again, this time a 'female' answered the phone, asked me for my postcode and told me that my order had been cancelled!!! i said 'who cancelled it' and explained i had placed my order around 6pm!!! she said '6pm and its only now your calling!' and she laughed hysterically. i could not speak and started to shout at the top of my voice and asked her how this was so funny. my daughter took the phone and tried to ask her how had the order been cancelled. she proceeded to shout at my daughter and then hung up the phone. my daughter called back and a man answered, she asked to speak to the woman who hung up the phone and he told her 'no woman here!' then said 'order cancel, get money back from Just Eat!!!' i got into my car and drove to Oriental Chef. the woman who hung up the phone, shouted in my face and told me to shut up and swore at me. How i did not break every window in that shop is beyond me. i stayed in that shop until the money was returned to my card. they are vile and disgusting and don't know how they are still open. the 1 star is so i can post this ...............
Had to do this again. Should have listened to the other reviews. Food came on time although the sauce from one of the tubs leaked into the bag all over the other food I had ordered The deliveroo delivery guy Junior did look sheepish and held out the bag he had and made me take out the bag myself. In short the food left a lot to be desired in taste and the way it looked. DO NOT GET SHREDDED CHICKEN IN CHILLI. What you'll get is crispy beef in sweet and sour sauce which is not what I ordered. Food was not fresh. It tasted as if it had been there all day. Would say the food was just above cold in temperature. Would not order from this place again and I would advise that everyone who reads this does the same. Please Don't waste your money with these people and to think, they want you order up to £30 and over for a free delivery.......I think it's a cheek to be honest.
Ordered from this place so many times not one single issue until today with the crispy beef smelt horrible n was off we called to complain the lady was absolutely rude needs to learn customer service refusing to issue a refund and then telling us that we agreed to free food when we next order when this was not what was agreed once calling just eat they issued a full refund and this rude person had the cheek to tell us to bring the item back. Never again no wonder they have bad reviews on here.
They just cancelled a food order 30 minutes before they closing time. Needed to wait for that more than 15 minutes through just eat. Very nice touch! Thank you. I'll never order from here.
