Visited centre to hire the new e Bikes. A wonderful experience on and off the bikes, staff fantastic and helpful. Bikes top quality, highly recommend.
Went to see the Lost Words exhibition and was very pleased. Beautiful work and presentation, was also kid-friendly. Didn’t get to try the food there as cafe was full; looked like great food however, many pleased faces. Toilets are available, building is clean and appears wheelchair accessible wheelchair elevator to get down to lower gallery.
We went to see the Jackie Morris Lost Words exhibition Other half is in North Wales.. A beautiful exhibition and loved the Gallery generally. The Architecture of the building is inspired, the feel of the place is wonderful and the staff are delightful
This is an absolutely amazing building ,I love the architecture, I sit there looking up at the ceilings, in awe... the incredible detail in everything that makes the place what it is! The craftsmanship achived from over 900years ago is bewildering... We got chatting to a lady, that was helping out in the small souvenir shop down by the Abbey entrance...wow...she was extremely knowledgeable, about the history of the Abbey, and she was so pleased to be passing that knowledge on to us. I want to thank her once again, for the enlightenment, it really meant a lot, it was a lovely day made even more so for us on our visit. Thank you.
St David’s day 2024 was busy and the weather was fine too. The exhibits were a bit sparse and tad expensive. Yet we forgive all this as this little place is a must stop for everyone
Amazing Jackie Morris/ Robert McFarlane exhibition when we went.
Lovely galleries, shop and café. Great display of local artists' work. And also exhibition on nature in the area and historical finds.
Only had coffee but it was very good and the selection of cakes and lunches looked really good. Will go there again for lunch soon. Very friendly staff. Very clean and laid back. Went again for lunch which was excellent.
The visitors centre is great- lots of seating, toilets, a wonderful cafe “Pilgrim’s Cafe” which has its own page and great reviews on Google Maps and it has a good shop and helpful staff with lots of fab information and maps to help best plan your stay. We visited the art gallery too, and enjoyed the current exhibition and thought the artist was very talented.
Enjoyed an exhibition and shopping experience. Visited on a wet day but lots of picnic seats if you don't want to use the cafe.
