Visited this place for a private function upstairs. I attended a baby shower for my niece-in-law. It is a nice place and was set up really well. The buffet food provided was really lovely and a complimentary glass of Prosecco. We did not use the restaurant downstairs. We did order drinks from the upstairs bar. I definitely recommend this place for private functions. I can not comment on the actual restaurant as I did not eat here.
Choice of seating here, we sat in the Glasshouse which is a huge glass conservatory, feeling very airy and light. However, worth nothing that it obviously gets warm when the sun comes out although there is also an outside terrace with umbrella. Food menu has a cheaper afternoon option to 1600 as well as a full menu. The three of us had a selection of starters and the antipasti sharing platter and left feeling very full, probably because 2 of us also squeezed in pudding Service was friendly and attentive. Price of £35 per head without drinks although we'll not need to eat anything else today!
Excellent venue for our annual get together. Could not fault the quality of food, the professionalism of staff or the ambience. Prices very reasonable would highly recommend. Herb coated Mac and Cheese delicious beautiful large pasta nacaroni, sauce, not overpowering, but flavoursome. The set menu for 12.95 was excellent value. Did not mind paying extra for starter prawn cocktail or coffee.
Food portions were a little stingy on the set menu, could have forgiven this if it was tasty but not really. Caesar salad was warm and limp, fish was something cheap and tasteless. It's a pity as the glasshouse is lovely and the staff were nice.Food: 2/5
Spacious dining area well separated with decent social distancing, however the glass house area is a little more cramp. Good service and staff all wear face masks, good on them but it must be extremely uncomfortable for them wearing those over a full shift. Hearty portions of food, good value for money, especially with the dine in help out option
Funeral Meal: Great service all round, Soup I'd love the recipe Steak Pie alright followed by cakes scones tea & coffee Atmosphere Funeral playlist and disco lights [totally uncalled for in my opinion]
The food was excellent, great portion sizes, for £13.95 for three courses, what an amazing deal, staff were very attentive, hard working, all with a pleasant smile
First time at oregano in a long time since moving away from the area. Food was excellent, great value at £12 for 2 courses lunch menu. Service was fantastic considering only 2 servers on. Will definitely be back and recommending to others!Food: 5/5
