Story

Situated within 56 acres of farmland in the New Forest National Park, our well established lakes have grown from strength to strength throughout the years to become one of the most prolific fisheries in the South of England.

Orchard Lakes has something for everyone, stocked with 12 different species of fish over 5 lakes. We offer everything from match fishing, with bags of fish weighing in at over 400lb, to species hunting with large carp, bream and tench to be caught. Had my second visit to Orchard Lakes this weekend and fished Match Lake again in preparation / practice for actually matches coming up in the next few weeks. With a strong cold wind I was guided to select one of the pegs at the top of the lake with cover from the hedging and landed on Peg 15 with a fish over to a bank and lily pad area. Really good advice and service from the guys in the shop which is well stocked. As expected at this time of year it was hard going initially fishing over to the old/rotted lilies which will soon start to spring into life again - but were sufficient to apparently hold the F1s. Eventually it got going and I ended the session with just under 40 fish and about 25lbs. Three nice 2-3lb carp, F1s, Ide and Crusians. The complex is great, certainly looking forward to fishing Match Lake as the weather and fishing improves, you can park behind your peg and the shop, toilets and soon to be completed cafe are modern and clean.

Truly outstanding fishing, lovely cafe and great bait shop. The area is lovely and peaceful. The site is pleasant and the pitches are level. We needed to go out and buy an additional electric cable as our 25 meter didn't reach the hookup, but the owners were away so there was no one to show us where bins/waste etc were. The only downsides were that the gate is locked at 5pm and the residents on site were sworn to secrecy on the code so we couldn't go out for the evening, the toilets and showers look clean but are situated by the shop and cafe no where near the caravans. However, none of this will put us off, we will be returning.
Wow what a days fishing I had on 26th of August. Fish every cast, no fancy baits just good old fashioned basic fishing, as a husband who is a carer for my wife it was the best days rest bite I could have asked for. Lovely lakes, good catches. Staff really helpful. Has small tackle shop. Cafe wasn't open when we visited. Toilets lovely and clean actually the cleanest we've used
First time there for me and my son.also first time lake fishing. What can I say fabulous place to fish. Plus all sustainable fish in lakes. The owners were really very helpful as they showed us how to fish with poles for barble, silver,roach and of course carp fishing. I do not rearly recommend places with 5 stars, but orchard place gets this. New cafeteria. Good options with breakfast and also coffee and tea and also reasonable price. I will camp there next time as all new fercillities in place. Like I say what a great place to fish for all and especially for beginners like us. Thanks again guys who are running this. You made my sons holiday even more special.
The facilities are flawless, the shop, cafe and toilets are all impressive. The lakes are all decent with good upkeep. Friendly atmosphere. Would be 5 stars if card and cash payments were consistent. Some things are cash only whilst others are card. Still massively recommend.
What a wonderful venue. Great tackle shop on site, great food in on site cafe, staff very friendly and to top it all off the fishing was superb. Can’t wait to visit again.

Brilliant day's fishing, looking forward to going back. Egg Bacon and Sausage Roll for breakfast was spot on! I'd recommend venue to all Angler's.
