Food was lovely! We also had the Mac & Cheese Bites and highly recommend those. I plan on trying the Mac & Cheese burger next time. They ran out of mash which was a bit disappointing for the filled Yorkshire pudding I had but it was still pretty good with new potatoes and the sausage was delicious. Will definitely be back. :

Food was very good I had a rump steak done to perfection and so tasty..... definitely one of the nicest I've ever had. Tracy the waitress was very pleasant and even though they had ran out of an apple pudding managed to give a slight alternative via the chef....all worked out well

Excellent first time visit. Staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Nothing too much trouble. Great experience and so we will visit again.

Half chicken and chips was decent. My wife had chicken forestière and enjoyed it. The place offers standard pub grub at a slightly more expensive price than your average Hungary Horse or Green King Pub. They offer refillable Pepsi. The place was clean. Staff were friendly. Might visit again next time we are in Cannock.

Lovely polite staff, beautiful food.. good choice for vegans / vegetarians / pescatarian with limited menu. One way system in place fir covid prevention

Just lovely! Popped in for a quick lunch with my daughter. Food came piping hot. Didn't have to wait long either. Have been eating here on and off for well over 10 years. Never had a bad meal. Well worth a visit.

Friendly staff and following covid rules very well but the limited menu only has 1 vegan option thankfully a main course which was tasty and the only kids vegan meal is a dessert - a small bowl of tinned fruit. Its 2020, its not hard to have a couple of choices of dishes that don't contain animal or animal derived ingredients.
