I have been attending the Largs branch for a few months now as I was having ITB issues. I had a few ultra distance running events coming up, so needed some help and advice to get me round without any flare ups. I was seen by Darren initially and most recently by James. Both really know their stuff and after being assessed I was given a strengthening plan, combined with sports massages to target my issue. Absolutely delighted that with the help and expertise of Optimal Physio I completed my longest ever ultra a couple of weeks ago - thanks guys!
Ross at Optimal Physio in Largs diagnosed my frozen shoulder due to a rotator cuff impairment. After exercises & physio with Ross and James, I now have almost full mobility in my shoulder. Professional and caring treatment from both young men. I highly recommend. Thank you!
Hi, just want to share about how these guys that changed my life. The diagnosis, instruction and 'PhysioTools’ videos from May last year has been a real success. My mobility movement has improved so much that I have just joined ‘Parkrun’, never thought I’d see the day I would be doing this at 64. Cheers.
Can't talk highly enough of my experience at Largs Clinic. I had used Clinic before when I had a bad injury. A few months back I sustained the most dreadful back injury while competing at a Dog Agility Competition. I am glad to say that James at the clinic has now got me back in action. Had an initial consultation to discuss the problems and then was given full instruction and exercise plan as to how to alleviate the back pain. Everything that was discussed was also sent to my email. Reminders regarding my appointments are sent to me and they are always there to contact if any problems occur. I can highly recommend James. Very professional and very good at his job. Good listener and very knowledgeable. Hopefully I won't injure anything else but if I do I know who I will be phoning!!
Very happy with the service. Darren tailored a physio plan to my needs and time constraints. Regular face-to-face appointments were also used to check progress. I’ve now fully recovered from my injury and would highly recommend the team at Optimal.
I've been going to so many physicians in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, no one gave me a diagnosis for my injuries. I booked an appointment with ROSS, it was one of a kind session I swear. He was very professional and an expert of what he does. He gave me a full detailed explanation for my 10 year old injury and I was so grateful to have booked a session in optimal physio and will not be the last time for sure.
As a most unsporty woman of senior years I managed to sprain my ankle, the very first injury of that sort I have ever sustained . It was frustrating and annoying but, Optimal Physio having been recommended to me, I have had three very successful physiotherapy sessions with James. James' advice and expertise over the past 8 weeks has been invaluable to my recovery, delivered professionally and positively, in an encouraging and friendly manner. The exercise programme he devised was demonstrated clearly and simply, and has helped greatly . I am pleased to say that I am almost back to my normal inactivity! I have had two or three treatments over the past two months with James at Optimal at Largs Marina for lower back and wrist pain. I can't speak highly enough of the premises and of the treatment, advice and printouts of the treatment schedule. I would definately recommend Optimal Physio.
Fantastic, north Ayrshire nhs physio said she couldn't help as I couldn't stand to do the exercises. Optimal not only provide access to sitting and lying down exercises, they carried out massage right where required. They were kind, polite , welcoming, understanding of my needs and very professional xxx
I got great support at Optimal and love the fact that I got a physio exercise plan tailored to my exact needs. Definitely 5
