Story

Established in 2008, Opos Limited has become of the fastest growing Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs) in the UK.
Opos named for Our People Our Systems in recognition of the fact that for our business to be successful we need the right people and the right systems in place. With our Managing Director coming from a technology background Opos has the unique benefit of having state of the art systems developed and managed by our sister company DDI Consulting Limited.
Opos is a successful business that has experienced a fair amount of growth in recent years. However, the debt collection industry is a fiercely competitive marketplace. It is all about performance and is rapidly changing. Therefore, in order for us to continue to grow we must stay ahead of the changes, continue perform at our best, never standing still nor becoming complacent.
We regularly appear at the top of our clients’ league tables for performance. Using our services for debt collection has proven to be beneficial for several high profile clients in both the private and public sector. Our client list is made up of well known brands and Central Government departments.
Every one of our clients has different business drivers and faces unique challenges. With this in mind, we work with our clients in a consultative manner to set the right objectives, plan strategies, and customise reporting. Although consumer debt recovery makes up a significant proportion of our business, we do also manage medium sized volumes of commercial debt collection cases for many leading brands.
Compliance is king in modern debt recovery, which is why our fundamental working practices are built on ensuring adherence to all regulatory rules and guidance. We recognise that staff training and knowledge is a key component in meeting compliance requirements, whilst our technology platforms simultaneously provide the controls to work within such parameters.
This is a very exciting time for Opos. We have every intention of growing the business to its maximum potential. We have outgrown our existing office space in Ingram Street, Glasgow and have decided to move the operation to Dumbarton, taking Opos into the next chapter.
To complement the business and help drive our tactical growth plan we are keen to speak to strong and inspirational characters that have the ability to succeed. We have several openings across the company and for the right people there is excellent opportunity for personal growth and development into leadership roles.

The advisor that I spoke to was very thorough with the information provided, but when I explained my upcoming circumstances and that I still live at home, he was very adamant that I’ll have more than enough money to make a payment in November, even though I’d have just over £200 to live off for the month, which will include buying Christmas presents too. I felt as if I was being judged for living at home, having the disposable income I have and still being in debt.

Dont acknowledge email responses, continue to stress you out even though you are paying and explained circumstances. Still no payment plan set up even though again details sent via email. I dont use the phone and they are poor at customer service and people needs
I've been a customer off opos for a few months now i find the help and understanding they are is very helpful if your struggling to make a payment they give you time to make it with no pressure no calls or letter's the staff is very helpful and polite i would definitely use opos to look after My bill's
