Can not rate One Strathview highly enough. My host was welcoming, accommodating and kind. The room was spacious and warm- just what I needed on a dark, cold and wet evening. In the morning I was met by a beautiful view from the lounge and served a delicious hot breakfast. I look for any opportunity to be back staying again. Do yourself a favour, book your own stay here too!
Fantastic B&B. We have stayed at One Strathview on two occasions now to visit relatives. The accommodation is outstanding, and the owner Ian is so welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautiful, extremely clean with a comfy bed, large shower room, plenty of towels, TV, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits etc. There is also a spacious guest sitting room, a games room, summer house and lovely gardens with outstanding views. We would most definitely recommend One Strathview and look forward to our next visit there.
Stayed here for 6 weeks while on work placement and couldn't of had a more comfortable stay. Ian and Roger are fantastic, so welcoming and kind. The house itself is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and tidy. You really won't get somewhere as nice and cosy as this.nThanks for everything guys.
Absolutely fantastic b&b, Ian and Rodger the proprietors were so welcoming and inviting, they would do anything for you as you enjoy your stay. Got full use of the facilities, hot tub, summer house, games room and spacious sitting room. Breakfast was excellent, a definite place to stay. I will definitely stay here again.
We arrived at One Strathview to be created like family. Ian showed us around the house, they have a beautiful large lounge sunny outlook. The room we had was large very comfortable bed and very clean. The whole place was extremely clean, cleaner than any hotel we have stayed in. There is a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, large shower, plenty towels. They have a games room where we enjoyed a game of snooker. There is a lovely summer house in the garden and a large hot tub. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use any of these because we were only staying one night. In the evening Ian made us a pot of tea and sat chatting when we exchanged life stories just as you would with family. Our breakfast in the morning was lovely, plenty cereal hot coffee and tea and mixed grill breakfast again piping hot. All in all we had a great stay, and Ian made it all the more special as a host in his home. We will most definitely return and hopefully stay longer. Liz and Dave
