I have been going here regularly over the years and it has had its ups and downs in that time but for the past year or so, it's been top notch. They do a brilliant carvery on a Sunday, or there is the regular menu which is wide and varied. I'd recommend it to couples and families alike. The food is good, the service is good. All's good!

Great pub really. They have always been polite and pleasant to me and the family. Fairly good (cheap) pub grub. A good range of draught ales. This day and age it cannot be easy to run a pub in any area, I think they try to taylor the events to match the local demographic which is good but it probably doesn't get enough clientele to warrant big events, unfortunately. It is great that they also have an outside play area but it appears to get abused and really could do with being tarted up a bit (again something that would be expensive to do)

Food service fantastic, didn't wait long and it tasted great. A very good selection on the menu. Staff extremely polite and more than helpful.

And the one star is for the quality of the food... placed our order of mixed grill, which arrived 30 minutes after.. doubled up on the food and all we got was one sausage extra each.. no gammon on the plate... no onion rings on the plate... items missing from the childrens plates.. not coming here again

Lovely last minute breakfast this morning always accommodating, have previously had food from the street food menu and several carvery and deserts. Staff always helpful and friendly. Toilets clean and smell fresh.
