As nice as a hospital can be :nFree parking, modern facilities and friendly welcoming staff.nUPDATE:nI recently had a minor op at One Ashford and stayed as a day patient. Cannot praise this hospital and its staff highly enough. Everybody was friendly, helpful and had plenty of time to treat me as an individual. Great facilities, no rush, no stress.nNot only were there three choices of vegan meal, they had oat milk for my coffee, Alpo yoghurt for dessert and offered me a choice of animal free medication.
Always had a very good experience with the interactions I have had. The new plaster cast put on was exceptionally easy and as I discussed a few issues I was having they happily called for the in house doctor to come in and talk about them. No hesitation in recommendation.
We were so impressed with the hospital. It was modern, clean, and we were welcomed so warmly by a nurse called Helen who somehow knew who we were and offered us a hot drink and clearly explained how the process of the appointment and procedure would look like. We were then taken to the room where Dr Shah and a second nurse called Yvonne welcomed us and Dr Shah explained clearly the assessment, the procedure, and dealt with us and and our newborn son with care and attention. The aftercare was also wonderful and we were given time and space to ensure our son had recovered before we left. Cannot recommend One Hospital and Dr Shah enough.
Was seen early by consultant, then quick X-ray, back to see consultant to agree surgery. Very efficient, all staff courteous & professional with excellent 'bedside manner '. Highly recommend. Just waiting for pre-op assessment form before choosing my operation date.
Visited for a small procedure. The hospital is clean and pleasant with a nice cafe at the side.nnDr. Ayerst is friendly, approachable, patient, and thoroughly professional. He took the time to explain the procedure in detail, ensuring I felt informed and reassured about what to expect. During the procedure, he demonstrated a genuine commitment to education, thoughtfully guiding the nurse through each step and explaining not just what he was doing, but why. It was clear that he values both patient care and professional development.
