Olton Library is a modern building and its staff aim to provide a welcoming and attractive environment for customers. There are 6 computers providing free Internet access, office packages and email. There is a dedicated children's area, books for teenagers, wide range of adult fiction and non-fiction, loan collections of spoken word and jigsaws, photocopier and a drinks machine. There is a meeting room, which can be hired for community and commercial use and is used by local councillors for monthly surgeries. Regular events throughout the year are Under 5s storytime sessions, Reader's Circle and Poetry Group.
