One of the best Sunday lunches I've had in a long while plenty of veg choices great portions of meat.....I had beef was cooked to perfection.we didn't book but made room for us so booking advisable.they also do takeaway basically bring your own plate there's foil and containers to hand.we did however notice that most rammed there plates full of veg and potatoes and filled flasks with gravy basically buy two meals feed six people lol
Excellent family pub with homemade food. Really looked after us. We will be back as my wife is currently living locally in a care facility.
The bests carvery for miles, great price and u get loads of meat. We travel 30mins to go for Sunday dinner and we'll worth it.. Lovely boxing day dinner
Stopped in here for a few drinks and a meal with the mrs while we were staying down the road. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We both had the salmon which was lovely. Recommended A*.nThanksnZoe & Joe
Impromptu call in while driving past.nCarvery sandwich with beef gravy and roast potatoes. Service was brilliant, very helpful, and polite. Lovely pint of Guinness. Price was well worth it.nCarvery looked gorgeous and £9.50 in the week and £10.50 on Sunday. Great price. definitely a thumbs up.
