Oldham’s of Westcliff is a family owned restaurant based in Westcliff-On-Sea, Essex, who have been in business since 1967. We are open 7 days a week.

Story

What we do is simple:

Always use the highest quality fresh fish and potatoes. Fried fresh using good quality oil by experienced staff who care. Alongside our ever popular take away, Oldham’s of Westcliff has two fully licensed waitress serviced restaurants (32 seats downstairs and 42 seats upstairs).

Fantastic food, not a single flaw I could think of. Will definitely be coming back! Lovely friendly staff too.
Absolutely top notch fish and chips, couldn't fault it. I've also eaten in the restaurant as well as having takeaway and enjoyed a beer with my food, can't go wrong. The one time my order was slightly wrong I came back and they offered me £5 back from my bill and did me a fresh portion of chips too.
The food her is simply splendorous. I was served by Humphrey who was faultless and true gent and excellent fryer.
The fish here is superb - fresh and fried to perfection. Chips are nice. Place is clean. Service is fine but can be a little slow, but they are friendly!
I absolutely admire the atmosphere in this chippy, lovely set of staff and fantastic Fish and Chips. Will be visiting again very soon
The best fish and chip shop in town, Oldhams of Westcliff has for many years set the gold standard - both in terms of service and quality of food. I am happy to drive from Leigh-on-Sea to give them my business. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

The food is always cooked fresh and served lovely and hot. Love eating in there but also taking away. The staff are great too.
