The owner is very friendly and helpful. He has a huge selection so there is definitely something for everyone.We always pop in when we come to Penarth….we’ll it would be rude not to. Probably one of the best sweet shops in the UK!
A real trip down memory lane… the proprietor is delightful! A breezy and damp November day, made so much better by a visit to the Olde Sweet Shoppe and a chat with the owner!
Very nostalgic place for someone like me who grew up in the 90's and is run by a really nice person who was very helpful in helping me pick out some sweets you can only get in the uk to send to some friends of mine overseas.

Wife is in the Hospice in Penarth so I've been here a few times for high sugar comfort eating! Can highly recommend, not just for the nostalgia and great selection of goodies, but they come in the paper bags!! Awesome place with very friendly service.
Gorgeous traditional sweet shop selling all the sweets and treats that evoke childhood memories Beautifully decorated in old sweetshop style. Ooohs and aahs from young and old , a must visit shop.

Full of childhood memories. Owner Phil Sweets so very helpful in finding your favourites. Well worth a visit when you're in Penarth. It's on the Pier.
