Best Taiwanese food I’ve had in London. Located in central London between Chinatown and Soho. I recommend the spicy beef noodles. Taiwanese sausage and chicken cutlet were also very good. Yes the place is small and cramped but worth a try if you never had Taiwanese food before. I thought the prices were decent. I’d go back again.
Extremely delicious. I have never been in Taiwan but this little restaurant really offers food that tastes authentic and home cooked. Flat noodles and fried pork highely recommended
Ate here before lockdown. The lady who served us was very polite. The food was good. Sad they don't deliver to our postcode
The food was not bad, close to real Taiwanese food. But the services could be better. I knew it's busy but it's not customers' fail, please don't wear a long face.
Never ate at a Taiwanese restaurant before but my first experience at The Old Tree didn't disappoint. The food was fairly priced and tasted really good. The beef and flat noodles was cooked excellently and the salt an pepper chicken is some of the best I've ever had.
One of my favourite restaurants in Chinatown. Great Taiwanese beef noodle soup though not as good as usual on most recent visit. Prices are OK though dumplings are a bit overpriced and looked like their were cooked from frozen rather than freshly made.
Very affordable place for some good quality Taiwanese food! Absolutely love this place! Very delicious! Cash only though, I usually pay 30 pounds to 40 pounds for 2 of us. Only down side is tables and chairs are very tight so you might want to visit when it's not completely full.
Great Taiwanese food in Chinatown. Food is authentic, prices are reasonable. This place is cash only! Tables are shared and you can only be seated once your whole group has arrived.
Bowls were dirty and seats are so small there is no where to place your bag or jacket. Service is quite abrupt too. However the beef noodles and sausage are the most authentic in town so I'd come back just for that. Fried chicken is not good.
A small place just off the main China town strip. Food is very good. Tables are slightly small and was slightly rushed when you have finished. Very typical for a small place that need the table. Food made up for it
