Old Spitalfields Market is a vibrant and historic gem in the heart of London. The atmosphere is bustling and lively, with a perfect mix of old-world charm and contemporary flair. The market offers a diverse range of stalls selling everything from vintage clothing and unique handcrafted items to delicious street food from around the world. What I love most about Old Spitalfields is the variety. Whether you’re a foodie, a fashion enthusiast, or just looking for a unique gift, there's something for everyone. The traders are friendly and passionate about their products, which adds a personal touch to the shopping experience. The food options are fantastic, with vendors offering a wide array of cuisines. It's a great spot for lunch, and there's ample seating to relax and enjoy your meal. The market is also surrounded by trendy shops and cafes, making it a great destination for a full day out. Accessibility is excellent, with easy access from Liverpool Street Station. The market is well-maintained and clean, and the overall vibe is welcoming and inclusive. I highly recommend a visit to Old Spitalfields Market whether you’re a local or a tourist looking to experience one of London’s best markets!
It's a cool spot to check out near the bustling Spitalfields Market. I love how the jewellery goes perfectly with my outfit, and the clothes are awesome too. I am eager to try different cuisines of street food at the Square, but some shops accept cash and card payments, unlike restaurants. I have been to this place multiple times since the end of January last year.
Popped over to Spitalfields today with some colleagues and was pleasantly surprised with the buzz. They've put up loads of unique stalls and made an effort to add more pop-up style food options. Can highly recommend Mr. Bombay's Indian food near the little elephants.
First time visiting this place, it’s a flea market with a huge selection of products, goods and food. You can find artisan stuff, graphic t-shirts, accessories, tote bags, books, and many more. Prices are so reasonable, of course I would love to go again.
A large flea market is held in this square. It is a place where you can spend a long time among the stalls and come across beautiful objects at all prices. watches, porcelain, pens, jewelry, clothes, toys, etc. There are also many food and beverage stalls set up. Close to liverpool street train and metro station.
First time visiting this place. It was interesting and good to experience the food kiosk available. It was rather busy and too long time to get the food ready. Most of the kiosks were actually full, although we went during lunch time. Nice lunch experience and recommended to visit if you are visiting the area.
Both this and the new market are connected to each other. Trendy store, artistic, colorful, kiosks, and a dizzying amount of food trucks! Plenty to see, buy, and eat. Free bathrooms available
Old Spitafields Market is a great place to shop and eat. I loved the small, independent stalls like Maya's Crown. This charming shop sells gorgeous skirts, tops, and robes made from upcycled sari fabric. It's the creation of a husband/wife team: he sources the fabric, she sews it, and they both work in the shop. I purchased two pieces, but I wish I had brought more back to U.S. for everyone who complements me on them! In this land of chain stores and boring clothing, I'm happy to support independent artists and wear something unique and beautiful.
Haven't been here for about 25 years. Used to be a bit of a boot fair but deems to have gone up market a bit now. A great selection of stalls now
nice elephant statues, clean and lively place great fish’n’chips in Wicked fish :
