Comfortable, well equipped cottage. Lovely! This is our third visit here and we will keep coming back! Dog friendly We stay over in the Autumn so weather can be wet & wild! Still able to get out walking in the Beacons. Llandovery and Llandelio are worth a visit - especially Carreg Cennen Castle so dramatic! Cottage is warm with additional log burner in the living room. Always hot water & heat available! Kitchen is well equipped for those who want to cook. Comfortable bed. We love it here and if you are interested in dark skies you won't be disappointed.
We had a great time, along with our two dogs. The location is idyllic with the sound of spring lambs and the wild birds. Red kites visable from the property. The property is more than big enough for 4..the layout is magic with the bedrooms on the ground floor which gives a better view from the kitchen. Everything provided. Already booked for next year x
Just home from a second visit to this wonderful, spacious but cosy hideaway! We first went about 4 years ago and fell in love with it. There were just 2 of us but plenty of room for more. A large comfy sofa in front of the log burner - make sure you stock up on logs though. Good base from which to explore South Wales. Usk reservoir is close by with a good walk on the paths around it approx 4.5 miles, benches/picnic tables located in various spots around the reservoir so bring a flask! The usual welcome pack wasn't available due to current restrictions/guidance but Sharon was nonetheless easy to contact and very responsive. Would definitely return again.
Lovely cottage, beatifully converted in a stunning area just half an hours drive to Pen y Fan
