As it was a lovely dry sunny day today we had a ride out to the " Honey Cafe " near Brecon. Nice big car park so plenty of Spaces for cars / bikes etc. This is a handy little stop if your venturing into the Brecon Beacons proper. As restrictions lift you are able to sit inside or outside and have Waiter service so your not standing around waiting to order / collect food. Great choice of food and drink and even though a tad pricier than other places there isn't much else around. This shouldn't distract from the great service we had. Polite and attentive were the staff and the food was great! Everyone enjoyed their meals and my chicken burger was huge! Enough for two people and proper home made chips! Definitely recommend and defiantly be back again although I hear it can get very busy in summer
Nice selection of tasty and well prepared food. Good outside seating area with fine views of the Black Mountains. Staff were efficient and polite. Good place to stop on a motorbike as there's plenty of parking outside the cafe. It was quite busy when we visited on a Sunday afternoon but the food arrived without too much delay. Recommended
The wife and I enjoyed a really nice full English breakfast at the Honey cafe today. The staff were even kind enough to do our bacon well done just as we like it. Nice attention to detail. The food was hot and the filter coffee was just fine. The Honey cafe is very clean and tidy too. In fact the one thing thst stopped me giving 5 stars was the unisex toilet that my wife was slightly uncomfortable with. Having said that we found the staff all very polite and welcoming. All in all a nice experience and we will use this cafe again. Recommended.
Very lovely place plenty of food to choose from staff very helpful and polite 5
Fabulous little place for breakfast with very friendly and very polite staff. Food quality was superb, cafe impeccably clean. One of our guys complained about the price of his beans on toast, but he is living in 2020!! The prices were good considering the state of the UK. Would definitely use this cafe again!!
We just spent a lovely lunchtime here in the beautifully decorated and characterful Honey Cafe. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, pre-ordered due to our large table for an occasion and allowed to put up some balloons and bunting on the old beams. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. Service was fantastic all round with friendly staff. Toilets and hygiene immaculate. Well done to all the team.
Just visiting, popped in for coffee and cake. Coffee was lovely and hot, and the carrot cake was really tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit.Food: 5/5
Nice location and a friendly team of staff. However, I wouldn't describe the portion sizes as generous. For the price I would expected more on the plate, the wraps were basic without any dressing or salad. Soup was was on the specials board and ordered, paid for and then told 5 minutes later wasn't available.
Excellent café; our second visit didn't disappoint. They do a lovely vegan breakfast and an equally good cup of tea. Interesting to see the artwork and curios, and what a view too!Food: 4/5
Had breakfast at The Honey Cafe this morning. Not visited in a while but a tasty good value breakfast as always. Lovely surroundings and pleasant, helpful staff. Parking: Plenty of parking
