Sunday lunch - Excellent! From the first moment you step in all staff make you feel extremely welcome going the extra mile, good seasonal menu with lots of choice - food always 10/10, would recommend to friends and family, great for a quick pint or a celebratory meal. Much more accommodating than the other local pubs.
1st time Ive popped in as I'm only local, nice selection of beers just a shame the kitchen wasn't open in the day. Lots of nice tables inside but no one sitting on them.. Some staff with just one word answers.. never mind he must of had a bad day.
I came here with my other half last week. We were driving past and thought we would give it a go; the food was terrific, the day's pie was brilliant, and the crumble finished it off. We will come back again.Rooms: 5/5
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious but sound proof not great especially if on lower floor. Location on busy road but beautiful grounds and gardens. Would certainly stay again.Rooms: 4/5
A unexpected surprise. We were driving past on our way to Hever Castle and couldn't resist the charming exterior. It is like stepping back in time. We only had coffee which was very nice. Its a beautiful venue.Service: 5/5
Sunday roast was ok, but not amazing, I was expecting more for the price. The pork belly was all fat, normally the piece is more balanced but in this case, although the skin was nice and crispy, it barely had any meat, was all fat.
The staff were brilliant and attentive and were clearly working very hard despite having an issue with their ordering system. Really friendly and great experience, I'll happily return.Rooms: 5/5
We decided to give the afternoon tea a whirl after finding nowhere in town that seemed worth it or interesting and we were really glad we did. Super service, lovely booth seating and an abundance of sandwiches were duly scoffed and accompanied by scones with cream and jam. All topped off with a red velvet cake and a chocolate and what seemed like butterscotch torte. Would 100% reckon end and will go back for sure. Extremely reasonable price and actually lovely staff!
I would go again just for the food! Truly fabulous restaurant. The service was off. Sweet young server, but she seemed distracted. When I did ask for stuff she was kind, but forgot basic things like silverware and totally messed up my drinks. This however would not discourage me from returning, especially given labor shortages at the moment. Her kindness and upbeat attitude made up for the screw ups. Unfortunately I had a horrible sleep there. The green exit light and noise from upstairs neighbors kept me up most of the night. If I went again I would request the second floor and bring ear plugs. It's super charming and a great spot! Travel tip - Don't get off at Three Bridges with your Oyster card, you'll get fined big time. The $ we thought we were saving by not going to Gatwick cost us quite a bit in penalties. It was one more stop on the train and we didn't know we couldn't use the oyster.
Fantastic place for a breakaway. The rooms are spacious. The staff extremely friendly. I highly recommend a couple of nights stay here or having your next function here. Play area for kids as well.
