I come and stay here with my partner about 3 times a year, the park is immaculately kept, Wendy and Dennis are very helpful and friendly i love the atmosphere, the local wildlife who get looked after very well too! And the events that are put on are fun and entertaining if you haven't visited yet you should! Gorgeous place Rooms: 5/5
Old Hall is an amazing place to own a static caravan or visit with your tourer. This is our first season as static owners and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is the ideal place to relax and unwind in an idyllic setting. Wendy and Denis the site managers are the best. They organise several fund raising events throughout the season which are second to none. They are very hard working and go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and part of the park family. The park itself is very clean and well cared for with first class facilities. We are looking forward to many happy years at Old Hall.
Great touring site. Excellent location for visiting nearby towns and places of interest. Site is small and very well maintained. Toilets and showers immaculate. Beautiful display of flowers and plants around reception area. Will certainly call again when in the area.Service: 5/5
Just got back from a five night stay at Old Hall. Excellent clean toilet/shower block, lovely kept park, wardens very friendly & helpful, can't do enough for you. Static residents very friendly & if you need any help they are there. Town only 10 mins away with lots of lovely old pubs around. Will definitely be back & would highly recommend to all my caravanners.
Site is situated in walking distance to Boroughbridge town centre in idyllic location. A friendly site excellently maintained by Wendy and Dennis who are dedicated to providing a first class service. The facilities are second to none including The Stables that are an excellent place for socialising and many events held by Wendy and Dennis to raise money for charity. In there you will find TV, games, children's toys, consoles, book/video lending library, snooker table and lots more. A great place to chill with friends and family who are always welcome on site. Although the amenities block has only one shower for the ladies and one for the men this is rarely a problem as the site is mainly statics with approx. 15 touring pitches. Showers are powerful with unlimited hot water. They are kept spotlessly clean and always warm and welcoming on a cold day. No silly rules to abide to and good value for money. Your first visit wont be your last.
Well maintained site with fantastic facilities. Wendy and Denis are extremely helpful and keep the site beautiful. Within walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. Fantastic place for peace and tranquility.
Excellent park for statics and tourers. Very clean, warm washrooms and a superb games room with pool and snooker. An easy walk to Boroughbridge for great pubs and cafés. You hear a bit of noise from the A1, but it isn't excessive and certainly didn't keep me awake.
I asked the old hall for a one night stay for me and 5 other soldiers doing a charity walk for help for heroes, I was told over the phone that they did not want large groups of soldiers staying and they do not support our cause. I expresses that we would be arriving late and leaving early and be no problem as we just need a spot to sleep but was still rejected. Only put this up as the owners have asked me to write a review, wasn't going to but there you go, hope this helps you make a decision before booking here
It is a quiet and very clean side, people are very friendly and welcomed. We felt like at home. The best part is the magic room, they have everything inside to keep children busy. And they have separated room from that room for library and big snooker, it is just a magic room:
Spotlessly clean site, lovely flower borders and well laid out. There are 2 recreation rooms one being adults only. Pool table, snooker table, loads of books, puzzles DVD's, games etc to borrow. Occasional fun days organised by the site managers who couldn't be more helpful and friendly. A peaceful, tranquil site with easy access from the A1. Everything you could need in the town which is easily within walking distance from the site.
