Don't bother if there is a chance of rain. Expensive and nothing to do if it rains. Overpriced drinks and snacks. Everywhere we went seemed to have private parties going on so we couldn't use the very few indoor bits. Oh and if you're told there is a soft play by the staff forget it, it's just a load of big mats on the floor. Overpriced!

Love this place and they really look after it well. The kids are older now but they used to love coming here and playing in the massive park and using the trampolines. They found the chickens/hens hilarious to watch by the shop. It's a shame they've been moved from there. I've done the 5k run here which allowed me to see more beautiful grounds and I've been to 2 functions in the main house which were both great evenings.

Old Down Manor hosts Working Breakfast's Thornbury Group. Excellent service, facilities and food provided by friendly and efficient staff.

Great place, quite good value. Animal area is a bit grotty, but kids had a blast in great little ones play area, huge site with massive outdoor adventure play area, nice cafe and food. Lots of wasps in summer. Rubbish portaloos, wouldn't have enough space to take a child who needs help on loo without leaving door open and can't take a buggy in as small wooden steps up to loo/sink area so have to leave it outside. Not sure about whether there was baby changing area.

Great park loads to do. Sunday Carvery is fantastic. cant wait to visit again.
