Glad to see this town centre up and running again. I hadn't been here for a long time and this looks like it's like a comfortable, traditional pub. Loses a star because there was no ale on the hand pump because the delivery had only just arrived.
Nice old fashioned pub drinks were fairly priced and barman very pleasant will call again.

Nice pub inside, has new seating area outside. Friendly staff, good choice on menu. Food was good, except it was only just about warm. Been here before, same happened then, some of meal was cold. We complained the last time, food went back, then came out cold again, so did not complain this time.

Fantastic place to eat all week around but for us the Sunday dinner was the best we have ever had the beef dinner is outstanding fall apart beef very generous child's portion, nice seating outside in the sun or inside watching the sport very friendly staff every time we go would recommend this place to go definitely enjoy the food thank me later
The Staff are lovely and our food was delicious. My only criticism is the toilets..they need a good upgrade and a disabled toilet would be a massive plus point. Although I am sure improvements and upgrades are going to happen It has only been reopened the last few weeks and I wish them all the luck in the world
