I've been several times to the Odeon in Sheffield. Every time I have been, the staff have been friendly and knowledgeable. The place is kept clean. I've not tried the food or confectionery as yet as cinemas can be pricey, but it looks like there is a decent range to offer. The seating has always been good and comfortable. Would be a 4.6 star rating.
Not very disabled friendly - Attended the cinema 25/08/24, booking the tickets on the 24/08/24. Arrived at the cinema to the only working lift being out of order, no warning or anything when booking, no apology from staff either. Once I’d manage to climb the stairs to get to my screen, I walked past the disabled toilet which was also out of order. When I attended the cinema last on 27/07/24 it was out of order too, meaning it’s been out of order for at least just under a month. Doesn’t seem to be being fixed quickly… Surely the bare minimum odeon should do is provide toilets and lifts for disabled, and if unable to warn people when booking. Very disappointing but unfortunately not shocked.
Staff were great but the seats aren't tiered enough so when you recline you can't see the screen above the person in front of you. Also the screen I was in was extremely noisy and loud with groups of kids screaming and messing around. Shame because it could be cool
Since the update a few years ago, all of the seats are recliner chairs, they have tables attached and arm rests which can be retracted to turn a set of two chairs into a sofa for couples. The food is always great, the staff are always very friendly, the drinks machine has the flavour option thing like 5 guys. The only thing stopping a 5* is the screen size which is obviously nobody's fault.
The seats here are so much better then the standard seats at any other cinema. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy the movie. You can order food to the table while watching a movie so, me and my wife went and gave it a try. We will definitely be coming back again. Was a pleasure. The staff were friendly and polite. Reasonably priced too. Thank you.
The seats here are so comfortable definitely my cinema of choice now, plenty of toilets available here as well, all very close to the screens, food and drinks are available and if you order your tickets on the app, you can order food and drink and do it as a bundle, it's very easy to use. The cinema is very close to the train station.
Very modern and clean. Good price for food as far as cinemas go. Super comfortable recliner seats in all cinemas. Screen size is a bit too small for most though.
I've visited this cinema a few times and have found it to be a much more comfortable cinema than my local one in Chesterfield. There is much better food choices, and they have a bar and also a soda machine with lots of different flavours! The seats are really comfortable and spacious and the staff are all really friendly and helpful!
I’d tried to book tickets for me and my partner with a meercat movies code and the website started glitching out. It said there was a payment error so my partner had to book the tickets instead. A few minutes later I had an email come through and we’d ended up having 4 tickets. When we got to the cinema we spoke to a guy behind the counter who gave us absolutely no fuss at all. He found my account and helped us out straight away. He was super chatty and friendly. Thank you!!
Reyt. So the actual cinema is BEAUTIFUL. The staff are friendly and it’s clean and a good experience. However. The parking situation is a disgrace. It’s like £10 for 3 hours but whatever, it’s city centre it’s going to be expensive. But the sheer state of the staircase going up to the cinema is VILE. Broken glass, human faeces and an intolerable stench of urine and vomit is what you have to experience to go to the cinema. It’s a shame the experience was ruined by this. Even if this is not owned by odeon. It leads to your venue. Please clean it or report to Sheffield council to get Brittana Parking to sort out their shit.
