Had a really good meal here. Have walked past this place for years, finally got lured in by someone eating clams in the window. So glad we did. Will definitely go back!

One of the most unfriendly and rude manager I have ever encountered. The Eastern European manager not only was obnoxious, but extremely condescending . Had not been there over three years as the food was poor, and now having tried it again, I deeply regret wasting my time and my dime. Do not recommend at all.

I’d be surprised if this restaurant will still be open at the end if the year. Since changing ownership I haven’t seen many of the usual crowd there. I’ve been 3 times but won’t be going back. On my last visit, I was seated at a table that wasn’t dressed. When given the menu I was told that numerous dishes were not available. This is probably because they hadn’t ordered the ingredients. My husband order a steak and I ordered a baby chicken as the chicken skewer (my favourite dish) was not available. My food arrived before my husbands. Then he was given a fish dish and told it was steak. Now we’ve been to this restaurant so many times n can tell the difference it’s a shame the waitress can’t. He was told it would be 2 more minutes. After waiting almost 10 minutes I asked where his steak was. It turns out the fish dish that the waitress was trying to call call a steak belonged to another customer. The waitress should have known as she was the only waitress in the restaurant and had taken all the orders. When it arrived I had finished eating. We were not even compensated for their mistake. When I pass on a daily basis it is almost empty whereas in the past it was rammed and you would have to book a table now u can walk in and practically choose where u would like to sit. The food doesn’t taste as nice as it use to. If they were going to buy a restaurant and keep the original name they should have at least kept the same chefs and waiters/ waitresses.

Lovely friendly place. A bit of a hidden gem selling holiday food (taste of Portugal) on an average street in Leyton. Delicious fresh cooking of Portuguese dishes and generous portions.

Overall OK. The service was slow but the staff was friendly. The food was good but a bit small portions.
