Good ambiance when you walk in. Feels like you are transported back a hundred years! Whether that's what you like or not is another matter. Service was good and prices are competitive however the bar staff used their hands to touch my sugar cube which was a bit nasty. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Great Pub. Limited opening but once it start it's fabulous. Lovely staff, very friendly & efficient.  We booked a room for a birthday party gathering ordering food & drinks as we went along. Love the shabby chic but actually authentic surroundings. Just discovered my Father-in-law went here when it really was a Technical College & went on to be the Director of the Science Museum. Leyton rocks.

Sunday roast was a disappointment. The portion size was very small and served in soup/pudding bowls!  At £15 ahead for a beef roast I can honestly say they have a nice little scam going on. It's a classic ripp off. I think they care more about how much profit they make by giving the smallest portion they can get away with. They have taken this too far. I will give this establishment a miss next time I'm in the area. I expect a lot better.
