The home of the retired Royal Yacht Britannia is behind the currently being rebuilt shopping centre and not well sign posted. The Yacht itself is wonderfully maintained and the audio guide is excellent as you follow a clearly marked your route from the bridge to the immaculate engine room.nThe charming tea rooms are worth a visit!

When this place opened in 2001 it was a great place to go,lots of lovely shops and fabulous places to eat.Go forward to 2024.....I don't know why ANYONE,unless you are a tourist going to visit the Royal Yacht and get major ripped off in the process,would even waste their time coming here.What a total and utter waste of space.My advice.Stay clear,stay in town and enjoy the quirky streets and the amazing friendly locals you will come across and maybe save yourself some money

A bit run down at the moment but currently undergoing a refurbishment. The shopping centre remains open and there are various restaurants and businesses plus the Royal Yacht Britannia. The upstairs seemed ok but the ground floor is quite empty.

Many closed shops, several big names left.nCinema still there, still plenty of eating places. If its retail satisfaction you are after probably better elsewhere. The tram will drop you right outside and close to Holiday Inn.

Nice reception from Edinburgh. Volunteers waiting in reception to guide you to the bus and tram stops all situated minutes from the terminal. Just outside the terminal were staff from the public transport company selling all day, bus and tram tickets for £5, well done Edinburgh.
