Stopped over in Eastbourne with work and came across this place - firstly the gentleman behind the counter was so polite , secondly food hot, fresh and large portiobs. If in the area again that's the first place I'll be heading - well done to the owner

Well done!! 
I travel the country working from inverness to cornwall and use chip shops frequently.
Staying in Eastbourne i found Ocean fish and chips.
Looked a bit dated outside but once inside I found the owner charming and exceptionally helpfull.
Service was exceptional , food was great, well cooked and plenty of salt and vinegar!!!
Best chippy weve ever been to, 
Wish they were in Warrington where we come from.

Just popped in here on the way home from a day trip as was hungry and had a while before my train. A quick Google revealed favourable reviews so we went in. The gentleman serving was absolutely lovely; Incredibly friendly and great with my son. Service was efficient and we both enjoyed devouring an excellent fish and chip lunch on the train home. Would highly recommend!
