An absolutely exceptional service from start to finish. Our initial ‘browse’ started with “we live two counties away, so we’re just here looking, we won’t be buying…” This was met with a friendliness and warmth that, having visited at least 30 dealerships in the past few months, is evidently not always the norm. Steve was brilliant, helpful, knowledgeable, an experienced sales person who knew and was very passionate about the product. James stepped in to help ensure the car was available to collect at short notice, as well as being able to offer lots of advice, and a calm head about an issue with my old car. The car collection experience did not disappoint either, it felt like everyone in the dealership came to say hello, and the dog treats for Betsy were very welcome. I’ve been lucky enough to buy numerous cars over the years, most of which would be considered ‘prestige’ and often the service has been excellent, but my experience at Ocean Mini has surpassed everything. I genuinely can’t stop smiling about it. A huge thanks to everyone, both sales and service for your help: And the car…..she is just amazing!

I had a very positive experience. All the staff were friendly and courteous. I felt looked after by everyone who spoke to me. It is the second time I have visited and it didn't disappoint. Keep up the good work guys.

I bought a bmw 1 series about 6 months ago, but over the last month it has been in limp mode and spent the last 2-3 weeks with the dealership. I was offered no curtesy car until only last week, and even then the process was not explained to me after a week of chasing them up on it. I have had little to no communication unless I rang first, and even then when they do call me they have no information to offer on the state of my car. My emails have gone completely unanswered. I am a nightshift worker, so this has impacted my employment and cost me a lot of money in lost shifts/hours due to lack of transport. 2 weeks ago I had to move house without a car. On top of this, this is my first car as I’m a new driver so I’m paying extortionate insurance prices for a car Ive not even been driving over the last few weeks. I bought this car from a bmw dealership with the assurance that in the case of something going wrong the dealership would be there to help me, but this has turned out to be the opposite of what has happened. The customer service has been bad when there was any actual communication and I am down a few hundreds of pounds with no security on if I will even have my car before back Christmas before.
Following my review below, I was contacted by David the Brand manager and after looking at the pictures and the video offered without hesitation a 50% contribution to the costs. 50% was really fair as I had far more work carried out on the car than I would expect any dealership to do. Thank you David and Ocean Falmouth for understanding the issue. Happy to revise my star rating from one to Four : Russell It's not often I write a negative review, in fact this is the first time. To say I am disapointed is an understatement. I agreed to buy an approved used Mini Clubman Cooper S online and over the phone. The sales manager did play hard ball and he did not drop a penny on the purchase. I agreed the terms as the car was the correct colour and spec and I would have hoped be in top class . The sales person and process was ok but that was not the issue. The issue was the delivery and the state of the car. On delivery, no car manual and not even a bunch of flowers as a thank you Other brands do! three stone chips on the bonnet and as a result of a complaint I was offered a pot of touch up paint but no discount. I accepted this but what for me was unacceptable was the state of the complete paintwork of the car. In normal daylight the paintwork looked acceptable for a used car but under street lights it was a completely different story, every panel of the car was covered with vertical and horizontal scratches Swirl Scratches. The previous owner clearly regularly used a car wash to clean the car and it was the brushes of the car wash that had marked the complete car. As an approved car from Mini this should have been picked up and remember I paid the full asking price. I have just paid £600 to have the whole car machine polished to remove this issue. To give you an idea it was as if the previous owner lived down a narrow lane with thorn bushes each side and each time the thorns left horizontal lines on the paintwork. For the record I have not addressed this with the dealership as I would expect based on the previous dealings to be fobbed off. I did expect more from a family run business. The pictures show the marks on parts of the car but it was present on every body panel. I have a video but this review will not allow me to up load it.
Booked mini in for service. Couldn’t get a slot for nearly a month. Not possible to have a courtesy car. Went to collect the car after the service had been completed and had to wait over half an hour for the privilege of paying and collecting the keys. In fact it was 40 minutes from arriving to driving out. I have other cars from different manufacturers and have not experienced this level of poor service at any other dealerships. I should add that the staff were courteous throughout.I wouldn’t recommend Ocean or BMW off the back of my experience and certainly won’t be buying another one.
