I did extensive research on composite bonding and by chance came across Devin through a recommendation. I was surprised at how reasonable his prices of work are compared to the other practices. Devin was very professional, friendly, welcoming and explained everything very well. He even showed me pictures of what he can do, which really sold it for me. He is knowledgeable with his work, meticulous and was able to put my mind at ease with any questions I had. Throughout the process I liked how he always explained what he was going to do before he actioned, he is thorough and nothing is too much trouble for him. Needless to say. I am very pleased with the result of my new smile and whitening and would recommend him highly for cosmetic dentistry. The practice in general are very welcoming and friendly. Thank you Devin and team for all your hard work.
Just finished my composite veneers with Dev and to say I’m more than happy is an understatement! He’s done an amazing job. Being able to smile with full confidence feels amazing. The whole staff at Bupa Pentwyn are very welcoming and polite and the dental practice is kept extremely clean. I couldn’t recommend this place and dev anymore if I tried!
I have to share my experience at bupa dental care at Pentwyn yesterday.To say I was nervous is an understatement but Devin is the most understanding dentist I have ever met...and I've met quite a few given I'm 65! He was so patient and understanding and took time to explain procedures to me and calmed my nerves completely. Thank you!
Having been a patient here from just before covid I've noticed alot of changes things at the practice, some with appointments being mixed up or cancelled but that's completely understandable. I've always found the staff to be nothing but polite and understanding along with accommodating and caring. A few months back I had an appointment to remove a tooth but it lasted much long than expected which left me feeling very faint to the point I almost passed out.the staff and management were quick to aid me and look after me,making sure I was completely fine before leaving the practice. They litterally couldn't have gone more out of their way if they tried...to me that was very very reassuring because in that moment I felt really poorly and quite scared as to what was happening to me. They checked my vitals and sat with me the whole time, constantly asking what they could do for me. Equally the praise I have for the dentists and their nurses must be mentioned too. I've never been more at ease or relaxed at any other practice, they are more than above patient with me and always discus any options in complete depth. I've never left there not fully understanding what my treatment is or the steps going forward.they always treat me like a person and not just another name on an appointment list. They remember anything I struggle with like having xrays or my anxiety and are more than accommodating with looking after me. I cannot praise how I've been looked after enough which is fantastic because my children are also registered here and as a parent, to know they'll also have a good experience is very comforting to me. Ontop of this the practice is very very clean and tidy and their adherence to hygiene must be commended. Especially in todays climate..I came from a practice that was dirty, rude and left you dreading any appointment so this place to me is a godsend
I used to be really anxious about the dentist until I switched to Dr Joao, he is friendly and gentle which is exactly what anyone with dental anxiety needs. The practise used to have a bit of a negative vibe before Gemma the current practise manager took over, she has helped me feel at ease and valued as a patient and I think she’s amazing at her job thank you Gemma :!!!!
I was called with an offer for an Ivisalign consultation. I said I already book it somewhere else but they were very convincing, offering a free consultation, fee goodie bag, Black Friday offer etc. I said ok, I went there and left extremely disappointed. They told me I'm not suitable for it, where multiple other doctors said I'm a perfect candidate. Other clinics are offering a 3d scan. They just took pictures with a regular camera. Technology gap between them and for example Gwena is massive. Also, not even trustworthy about little things like goodie bag. It's not a big deal but if they lied about it, what else they are lying about? Waste of time. Two stars only because I was earlier and they didn't ask me to wait for my appointment time. * I received a call from the clinic saying they offer a 3d scan and all promised things but unfortunately due to my early arrival the person responsible for it was on a conference. I didn't mind waiting, I was aware I'm too early, shame I was not asked to wait. Bupa was my preferred clinic as it's close to me but since I was told 'no', I booked my treatment somewhere else. Thank you for the call though!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Devin is absolutely fantastic at his job, communication was 10/10 over the period of starting my composite veneers right until the end. If you are looking for a new smile - Devin at this practice really is your go to. I have never been happier and my confidence really has boosted with my new teeth! Highly recommend Bupa Pentwyn, all the staff are welcoming & friendly! Thank you Bupa Pentwyn!
Had Invisalign / whitening / composite bonding from Dev. Dev’s attention to detail is amazing and itwas such a smooth process from start to end. Would highly recommend.
Excellent treatment from Dr Devin. Professional and friendly throughout the treatment. Nothing is ever to much trouble.
