Beds uncomfortable. Staff said the hotel will be upgraded. There is no bar with the intention of never having an alcohol licence going forward. Great location for Bingley/Crossflatts. Lovely building. Would stay there again.Rooms: 5/5
I gave it 4* as it was cold in the room as they turned the heating off at night and only put one radiator on before we arrived. It was a listed building with single glazed windows and high ceilings. It needs the heating on all the time to keep the place warm. They provided blankets for us for the second night. The hotel is beautiful.Rooms: 5/5
Most beautiful and stunning building , enjoyed my 3 day stay! Hotel staff was so lovely at all times and hotel is so clean!Rooms: 5/5
I was in room 16 - top floor - very dated bathroom - no window! just a skylight and no WiFi. No alcohol either available, just in case you needed a distraction from the boredom! Both bedside lights were broken, so no chance of a late-night read even, without the main light on. It's a 30min walk into Bingley, which I knew in advance, but was forced to do in the rain as nothing else to do in the hotel. The breakfast is 1970s, some lumps of chopped, stale cheese, spam-looking pink things, 70s cereal, 70s yogurt - no cooked breakfast. Hideous 70s filter coffee and the cheapest bread toasted. Rooms: Grim - no window, no WiFi.
No bar and no cooked breakfast. Never made aware of this when booking was made, even though payment included breakfast. Lovely staff which made the stay more pleasant. Website still showing bar/restaurant when this is not the case! Very misleading.
Because I'm disabled and no lift got the box room, for the low shower Reason for low room score, also no cooked breakfast or bar open. I know it's not high season, but repeat customers stem from times like these. Would return Rooms: Basic disabled room no grab rails Nearby activities: Venue is well placed a good hub to visit Leeds Bradford and the canals
Lovely and traditional old hotel and if you go with those expectations you won't be disappointed. Shame breakfast was limited to just cold continental, but for the price we were very happy and would definitely return. Food & drinks: No dinner and no alcohol, this is more like a B&B in that respect
Came on the 5th of may for my engagement , blown away by the beauty of the place so peaceful , lovely people who looked after us and the gardens , so gorgeous and relaxing , if you want a relaxing break in a beautiful place ,this place is perfect ,Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful building and very friendly, helpful staff. A cooked breakfast would have been nice, but we did know that wasn't on the cardsRooms: 4/5
Lovely old hotel, slightly faded grandeur but well looked after and some lovely features. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous location for walking on the moors. A little distant from Bingley on foot.Rooms: 5/5
