Obviously the best football stadium in the world, right? My seat is in the traditional West Stand, dating back to the turn of The century. It's a beautiful old stadium football experience. It is just a shame the football doesn't live up to it sometimes most of the time!

I visited Oakwell Stadium as a visiting fan. I sat on the disabled platform in the away end and the view was great. I love the old fashioned stadium look and Oakwell definitely has that. I wasn’t keen on the food but didn’t spoil the game or day.

from an away fan, really nice ground not a huge amount of atmosphere from home fans but still a huge ground for league one and a really nice away end, limited parking in the area but if you arrive at a good time you’ll be fine. only big criticism is how the bar and food area below the stand was broken and the card machine reset it’s self about 3 times meaning it took nearly 5 minutes for me to buy a bottle of water as they had to stand there in front of me trying to reset the machine. you can therefore imagine how this is a problem when trying to serve 1200 away fans. hope to return next season

Staff and stewards were nice. View was great but there are pillars that will obstruct your view near the back.  We parked about 10mins from the ground for a tenner and realised as we walked nearer there's plenty of on road parking available.  The prices in the ground are shocking though! League 1 side and they're charging £6.50 for a pint of carling!  £2.75 for a bloody chocolate bar?! This is Barnsley not London!?  Coors available on tap too at same price along with 500ml bottles of cider.

Brilliant atmosphere, ice cold beer and the pies aren't overly priced!  Up the tarn and come on you reds!!!!

Went to the match Barnsley vs Darby with my kids football team they looked after us very well the kids loved it we sat in the older stand but was still good and had character. The mens toilets need a little work LOL The seats are good we had a good view near the front. Lucky for us it stayed dry as we would have gotten wet for us not much cover as the other stands.

Nice ground with away parking close by but took ages to get out of car park and out of Barnsley.

Lovely ground, good pitch, electrifying atmosphere, affordable pies and drinks. The kiosks are well positioned and the vendors are fast so the line keeps moving such that you won't even notice there was a queue. I visited once and will definitely be revisiting as I had a lovely experience. All the stands are covered and all fans get to sit. The toilet is equally not bad. A great experience overall and I will recommend for a football game. Crowd control also commendable

Large stadium for League One with character located conveniently near the station. Good view from the middle of the away end with no obstructions although there are pillars at the back of the stand. Shame Sheffield United's players didn't turn up.
