Been using easylive auction for years - always paid for lots I win, never had any problems until dealing with Oakham Auction Centre. Very disappointed with the Center. Won lot in May 2022 and was waiting for invoice that never arrived. I called to ask what happen and they reported it was issue with their email system. I offered to pay over phone but did not want to do that. They promised to resend invoice- never received one. Called 2 more times to resolve the issue - eventually gave up. They banned me from bidding. Since they sold the items. When I called them they said that the will only withdraw the ban only if I pay original amount. Very disappointed and treated unfairly and have to pay for their issues with technology… : I would not recommend this auction house to anyone.
Rude staff. Definitely not representative of this lovely small town. The fact that they are sticking to online only auctions indefinitely following restrictions shows they don’t really run as a proper auction house, they just want to do the bare minimum. Condition reports are often unhelpful or completely inaccurate. Whenever you discuss anything with them they just threaten to ban you.
Beautiful items, excellent service. I am very happy. I wish all auctioneers would provide as good a service as this firm. Very professional, customer focused, and excellent rates. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.
An absolute joke!! Despite providing both written and verbal instructions, the auction house not only managed to screw up, but had multiple items of mine entered under other people!! Avoid at ALL COSTS!!! Mickey Mouse could DEFINITELY do a far better job!!
BOUGHT ITEMS VIA ONLINE AUCTION. PAID THEM TO PACK & POST BUT THE JEWELLERY WAS MISSING SEE PHOTO THEY CLAIM ITEMS WERE POSTED WITH OTHER LOTS I WON BUT WAS NOT - THEY EVEN ADMITTED THEY FOUND 1 OF THE MISSING ITEMS THEY SWORE THAT THEY HAS SENT! POLICE & FRAUD AGENCIES NOW INVOLVED. DON'T BUY HERE & DON'T SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED!
Lovely people, honest, helpful and friendly. They helped me tremendously following a bereavement and also in the run up to the next inevitable bereavement. Very knowledgeable too.
Treasures to be found, decent size auction. Pushbikes, ladders, furniture, toys, pictures And more. Just be aware that there are three or four steps to get in.
It's a joy to be at a Jeff Dales auction house aka the Oakham Auction Centre. Auctions are held most Mondays and kick off at 10am. Have a look at Jeff's website for further details.
