They are the best sales team for me. All the team members are knowledgeable specially a girl, I don’t remember her name. But everyone is doing their job with dedication and hard-work. Horrible customer service, gaslighting customers with claims that somehow it is company policy to request for a passport as valid ID to issue a blank replacement SIM Card for a lost phone but a BRP or foreign national ID isn't sufficient enough personal identification. Do not patronise. Avoid at all cost. Other telcos are far better.
I am an O2 customer and found my phone battery was less than 15%. I tried to charge in Joos of Bull Ring yet it was very slow. Then I walked into O2, the staff give me warm welcome, checked my needs, showed the wireless charger; another staff took the initiative to found a suitable cable for my phone and it started charging quickly. The shop is clean, tidy, warm, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It makes me feel choosing O2 is the right choice.
I have got the new iPhone 15 pro max from them. Amazing customer service by Rick Everything was smooth and he was super friendly and helped me get the best deal. 10/10

BIG THANK YOU to Scott the incredibly patient and supportive store manager here at New Street! I run a small lettings business and as we buy into the Virgin Media / O2 Volt media packages we end up with a lot of O2 products and administration for our properties. I had got myself into a very difficult admin jam on approx 15 accounts which no amount of time on the phone to O2 telephony support in recent months seemed able to solve. But Scott very kindly was willing to spend what ended up being about 2hrs of his valuable time with me in store, on and off the phone to the various O2 departments until pretty much everything was finally solved for me. I recognise solid customer service when I see it. Absolute legend! Cheers Scott.
Rubbish staff. All I wanted to do was pay off my device plan but they said I couldn't ? Then when I said I wanted to cancel they told me to take a seat... They left me there for 45 minutes whilst serving customers who came in after me as they were looking to purchase / upgrade. Once I FINALLY got to spoke to staff they told me I couldn't pay in store only upgrade and I had to call customer service.... Why wasn't I told this before waiting for 45 minutes ?? No wonder I'm leaving o2
Very bad customer services, All staff members are looks tired and completely ignoring the customers concerns and issues. No interest of dealing with the customers and I think they are just hitting the target by selling stuff.
Today 19/3/24 visited this store O2 bham new st, to compare Samsung's A models spec. I managed to check two models wanted to check further models which were next to one another but had a screen lock on them asked the sales rep if he could unlock them and he point blank said NO, without any reason - fine. I did say i wanted to check the specs. I then asked him what is the memory GB and what is the memory ram - which are basics a customer would asked from a sales rep regarding a phone. He only knew the memory which is 64gb, I asked what ram s it? I understand 64gb memory but what is the ram & and the cheeky prick said to me "GOOGLE IT". Yet he had a tablet in hand. Brilliant customer service. Deserve a medal!!! He was about 5ft 4"/5" Somalia background I could not see his name badge and he had yellow teeth because they chew on tobacco called HAQ This is your execellent sales rep..promote him. I came into compare specs on phones and potentially come back to O2, but after today...this idiot has left a sour taste. So I think am going to stay with your competitors. Don't forget to compliment your sales.
I got effective and pleasant service here today.
