Such a warm welcome by the two lovely ladies who run it, and a great selection of pottery to sit and paint. It even occupied my 5 year old for 2 hours as he painted a jet plane, which amazed me! I also got hand and foot prints made from my newborn baby onto a ceramic tile, and I was impressed with how gentle the ladies sorry I don't remember your names!! were and very helpful with what to choose etc. It's a beautiful keepsake.  They also do parties which I highly recommend, my friend organised my baby shower here.  A productive and fun way to spend an afternoon, bravo Mrs Potts!

We booked a party at Mrs Potts Place for my daughters 9th birthday and it did not disappoint. It's a fantastic space for a party and the two staff were so attentive and helpful to all the children. Would highly recommend.

We loved it. Two really well run birthday parties, enjoyed by all who attended. After our first party girl aged 9 her older sister wanted her party there too age 11. The staff adapted the process slightly for the different age range. You collect the fired and glazed pieces a week later. We chose the package where all the participants put their fingerprints on a plate decorated by the staff with a design of your choice, which was fabulous in both our cases.

My mother & I had a wonderfully therapeutic session at the adults evening, feeling completely immersed in our painting! Although nervous to start with, the ladies quickly help you to relax & once you put brush to pottery, the evening flowed and we loved every minute of it. There were ample supplies of various paint colours, brushes & easy to follow instructions on hand. We are looking forward to seeing the final results of the finished glazed pottery in a few day's time, but will certainly be retuning again very soon.

A real gem of a place. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and approachable. They always explain the process and paints and then leave you to create your masterpiece, checking back to make sure you are happy and offering advice if needed. There are a huge variety of pieces to paint and lots of examples to look at. The shop itself is bright, modern and clean which many similar places aren't! My daughter, aged 5, loves visiting and enjoys the freedom the staff encouraged me to give her to be creative. A fantastic little place, only wish we lived closer.

We had my daughter's birthday party here, a total of 11 girls. All had a really great time. The staff were incredibly well organised, very polite and keen to ensure the girls and we got what they wanted from the party. It is so good we are looking too go again for my older daughter's birthday later in the year.

Such friendly helpful staff. Very well catered for with drinks and equipment/paint. Clear guidelines and instructions on both painting and Covid-19. Toilet facilities and so much choice of items to paint. Well worth booking up for a fun activity for kids or birthdays or even hen do's. Would love to book again soon

We went to Mrs Potts place at half term as we were staying locally with family and had a fab time. The staff couldn’t do enough to help us and were really lovely with our young children.  While we were there their we witnessed was a situation of two young children running around the shop and pouring water on the floor. We were sitting at the table next to them. I have noticed on the reviews that they have written a review -1 star. This is laughable. The review is nonsense as were were there and saw it.  The lady with them - I assume the grandmother didn’t seem to care what the children were doing and was really rude to the owner when she tried to politely clear up the spilt water. The owner was was really nice , very patient and tried to encourage the children to paint some more but they didn’t want to. If it was me I would have asked this family to leave as they were totally disrespectful, the lady actually tried to blame the owner for ruining the children’s experience.  The children ruining other people experience more like ! I had to politely asked one of the children to stop racing around as they had knocked my chair while I was painting and the grandmother didn’t say anything ! I am amazed at how rude people can be.  I felt really sorry for the staff and clearly the owner was upset.  The staff were amazing with the situation and I can not recommend them enough especially for our little children. I wished we lived closer so we could go more often.

I have been to Mrs Potts' places on many occasions and have always had the best time whether it is on my own or with my nieces and nephews.  The staff are always friendly, kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.  They make you feel that you are able to create a masterpiece even when you think you have limited artistic skills!!  The shop always feels calm and there is a great selection to choose from.  I would highly recommend visiting Mrs Potts' place with or without children to paint some pottery or to take part in one of there many different classes.

Fabulous time this morning at Mrs Potts Place. Lovely calm environment despite being fully booked.  Very helpful with lots of great suggestions on the best way to decorate each item....especially my son's plate design. I felt a bit emotional watching him so calmly painting it as he has found it hard in the past to enjoy this due to his autism. The girls loved it too.  Will be returning in the future and highly recommend to others
