Whilst on holiday, our little Doris became very ill. We were seen by a great vet quickly who gave Doris a good look over. Prescribed some meds for her and if no improvement when home to take her to our vets. Thank you so much for your help with her. She is doing very well
Had to book an appointment for my little basset puppy whilst on holiday. I thought I would have a nightmare getting an appointment but was seen within the hour. The staff from front of house to seeing the vet were brilliant. Spent time to diagnose then treated her. Thankfully she is now back to her young self. Thankyou all.
We came here whilst on holiday as our dog had a swollen infected toe. Lovely friendly staff and great vets who were very personable and caring. They fit us in last minute and were very friendly and helpful. I’d love to have this as my regular vet if we lived closer.
Took my reactive dog in today and I can't express how good nikki was,she spent time with him to build a repport and it worked well. Best vet I have seen at this practice, very caring and gave him the full mot with minimal stress. Thank you so much from ted and myself. Would highly recommend
We visited nutes for my dog to have his booster and check up. Get into a room and 2 vets telling us our dog is over weight and don't feed him this and that rather abruptly. Then the main vet started to examine him . The other nurse/vet held my dogs mouth shut while examining him .never before has that happened. My dog had a sore ear which she saw and both of them proceeded to dig in his ear roughly first cottonwood cleaning fluid 2or 3 amounts.then out came the cotton buds digging and pushing for about 20 minutes . His ear was red raw by the time they finished. This is the worst experience I have had down nute. Talked down to us and didn't seam to care about the dog feeling atall . Left there with one scared upset dog and owner. Never had this experience before always caring.
Brilliant vets! Had to rush my puppy to Nutes for emergency operation as she’d swallowed a message board tack in a shop. I’d not been before but it was the closest vets. The reception staff were brilliant, kind and supportive I was a bit of a mess! and ensured she was seen immediately. The vet we saw, Slim, was amazing! He explained thoroughly the procedures Chilli might have to go through and reassured us that she would be okay. He had a lighthearted touch which I appreciated but what made him stand out was his genuine concern not just for my puppy but for me too! Making sure I was okay just as much as Chilli! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a vets and had the experience I had with Nutes , and I’ve had pets a long time! Needless to say, I transferred over to them! I highly recommend this practice!!

Very highly recommended this place. Our dog had an accident while we stayed on holidays. I rang Nute Veterinary for help and we could bring our girl straight away. They assisted her promptly after our arrival. They were most helpful and we are very grateful to them for their quick approach and fantastic support to us all. Great team with big hearts. 5 stars from us.
It's always traumatic when you're on holiday, and you need to take your dog to the vets. You are looking for prompt response, a soothing, reassuring tone, a little sympathy, and understanding. Above all, you need professionalism from the vet. We experienced all of these at Nute Vet practice. This isn't to suggest it's better than the other vets in Wadebridge. It was the nearest, and we feel our choice was vindicated in this instance. Just hope that, for all the best reasons, we don't need to do it again but wouldn't hesitate should the need arise. Thank you for being there, folks.
